My First Trip
« on: November 19, 2017, 09:32:31 PM »
I just booked my first trip from Nov 26th - Dec 2nd.

Thanks for all your input guys, I read a lot from your experience. Just to play safe game on my first trip thinking about blackbeards. Please correct me, if I’m wrong.

Thanks Don! I’m coming down for 7 nights, should I consider staying for 3 nights then move to Sosua? If then, any recommendations on hotels?

Or is it a safe bet to just spend a week in blackbeards? I’m totally new to this, so little cautious with my call

I advise you stay @ BB mainly because it's a reputable establishment & they chicas are not worn out & raggedy as their sosua counterparts due to a more older & upscale clientel, also you dont have to deal with the bait & switching & all the other scams & headaches.

I see the Blackbeards promotions department has a new account.

Its an easy place, has a loyal clientele, but can be a little sleepy. You are on the right track. Book two days there, two days in Sosua, decide after if you want to stay or head back.

Would totally be on you. Sosua a bit more things to do, the beach is fun, the strip can be entertaining, nights can get crazy, read the reports and you will get an idea about what to expect in a hotel and the rest.

If you are 50+, coming off a divorce and never traveled outside the country on your own before, Blackbeards would fit nicely.

Thanks Don! I really appreciate.

I’m on my mid 30’s. I’m from NYC first time traveling to DT. Never played the bait and switch game before...

Read the reports, but I would say now that if you are two days in Blackbeards then go to Sosua you will probably stay. I was look for a thread i started last year... I can't figure out how to find it. But was a "how to", lots of guys write reports and suggestions, its a pretty small place. You will get the hang of it.

I am a big fan of Blackbeards but would not stay for seven days. As @Don Pablo advised, consider spending the first three days or so and then move to Sousa.
Women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place. Sosua will do just fine.

Take suggestions from guys with a few post with a grain of salt  everyone is entitled to their opinion but establishments have been known to steer customers to their locations. I would skip Blackbeard only because I have a better time in Sousa. For the record Sosua is a small town, very safe & tourist friendly. Many times I'm out k-solo up until 5 am in the morning.  Many hotels are a two block walk to the club area. Terra Linda is a nice hotel with a excellent restaurant and security. Others like New Garden Hotel. You will definitely meet other tourist there so having someone to converse with is not going to be a problem. For tourist its P4P but for them its putting food on the table (in contrast to paying for drug addictions) so you will get use to it because they have some  very nice ladies if you take the time to observe.

Hi Dawkins,

Absolutely I would love that. I know zero Spanish. Which hotel are you staying in sosua?
