I purchased directly through them when they had the black Friday promo in 2018, for 2019.

Wassup fellas???? Just booked for 5th to the 12 of September. Wish me luck. Just need some advice on where to stay ? Is ahnvee the best choice? Terra Linda? Just don't wanna be to far from where the main strip is. And or if you have any recommendations on villas close by that would be greatly appreciated.

The actions coming from the current government have been so fucked up the past couple of weeks. Things literally change every single today. They do not think things through before they roll out these announcements. For example they announced that all beaches would be closing and then had to walk that back a couple of hours later. Today they announced that they would require a Covid test to enter the country and if you didn't have a covid test they would administer one upon arrival. A couple of hours later they amended the policy and by the end of the day they scraped the idea altogether. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.

Currently the curfew is 7pm on Weekdays and 5pm on weekends. At Ahnvee since we are a resort our workers have permission to be on the road after the curfew so we keep the restaurant open till 11pm everyday. We are allowed to stay open as long as we want for guests of the hotel. If you are inside of Ahnvee after the curfew then you are indeed a guest of the hotel. Everyday we have a really good mix of guys and girls. The numbers pick up tremendously on the weekends. Right now that is the reality but things can change tomorrow. Who knows. If you are staying at the hotel there is something for you 24/7

Bourbon, as of now are they still saying I cannot enter ahnvee after 7/5pm if I’m not a guest?

No. There is a curfew and youre not supposed to be outside of your dwelling. Much less going to a place of business that is likewise shut for curfew.
...I'm usually wrong...but that sh!t was great!

Under no circumstances will you get into Ahnvee after curfew if you are not a guest.

Does Ahnvee have hot water now? The last time I stayed, they had only cold water. That one thing put a real dent in my vacation. Nobody wants to shower in bitter water 2, or 3 times per day. I could deal with the shower water all over the bathroom area, crappy WiFi as I have cellular, but the freezing shower was torturous. Even the Chica’s were complaining.

Have hot water 99.9% of the time. Very unfortunate if you were here during one of those .01 times

Not sure why anyone stayed at this place pre-Covid. Place smells like shit. They let anyone in the motherfucker. Spend some extra money and get a villa. Stay at Sosua Inn. Ahnvee was played well before Covid. I understand the fellas staying there now because it might be the only show in town but god damn Sosua if that’s the case.

Did you have a room with the open shitter design or are you saying that the place smelled like shit all throughout?

Just ask for a deluxe room, pool room, or penthouse... privacy in the sitter solved... the design of the rooms are open so if you don’t have one of those rooms .... if your taking a shit  it’s on display for any room guest to see.

Prolly should remove the pool room from the list above and go with the other two options.  Pool is freezing, attracts mosquitoes and you smell bleach all night.  I stayed 4 days and didn’t go in once.  I would go with the deluxe.
