Sosua is still lit every night, all the restaurants and bars are making money; why? Because of us mongers. We are the economy in sosua,  we are the only ones who can afford to pay the  taxi mafia $20 plus dollars and all the hotels are fully book because of us mongers. We are the Dominican government's stimulus package. We pay for pussy and the chicas take that money to reinvest it into the economy. Burbon street is just a restaurant that sells good food that happens to have a the best location on the strip.

Sosua is not lit every night you mean pedro and 1 block is crowded with John's and hoes.  You have to wait and see what there move will be. They might close clubs on violations for a while.  You just have to wait and see. They are going to make a move, but you just do not know what they have planned. People have to remember they do not care about you and your money as your a sex tourist. You do not matter to them.

@ blackknight....if the Dominican government cared about prostitution then why are there hoes damn near all over that island? Second, prostitution is fucking legal. How the hell are the facts ignorant? Sosua is not as booming like it once was before.

No where else is there a place in the DR where you have a bunch of John's and hoes out in the open as you do on that 1 block of pedro. Where else in the DR is it so open like that. Boca chica use to be and they shut that down.

Santo Domingo have places just like sosua but Spanish skills is a must! Sosua is the better option because you don't need a car.

@Saint

You touched on something and I want to give my 2 cents.. I met two undercovers. Dressed as chics and out on the strip and POP... I was told they are NOT here for Gringos.. They are around to stop theft and crime. Now it could be BS but I was introduced to both through other police and they all confirmed it is to stop crime from the chicas and chulos.

So far I have NOT seen one person have an issue with these undercovers but you are right. They are around
Flip Flop Sports Bar / Flip Flop Taco Shop / Flip Flop Beach Bar #38 and a Few Nice Boats..... Sosua, RD

The scene had returned to a quiet state.  Rhumbas and D Latin we're closed.  That order came directly from the Attorney General  Santo Domingo as well as arrest and deportations. The curfews went to  in affect!  Bars and clubs had earlier closing times. The hotel frat house bikini contest had been eliminated. Even the photo shoots by glorified ho"s came to a halt.  More importantly, those places that were blatantly conducting human trafficking operations we're closed. More folks jailed and deported.

Sosua was in a nice quiet lull in the action.  Cuba Dave had been arrested and gave the monger community was given a clear example of how to lose your freedom thinking that you can go to another country and put their women on display as prostitutes.  Regardless of the fact that it's legal in that country.  He was in jail for about 18 months.  His momma died while in jail.

Sosua experienced about 2 years of this new normal of a reduced ho operations on Pedro but,....there was plenty of fun to be had.

Then along comes the Taylor Made Fuck up with a bikini booty shaking contest in the middle of the beach.  Real smart right?

Having enjoyed Sosua before Rhumbas, watching Rhumbas and Dlatin both get built from the ground up and experiencing them both, and making the adjustments after they both closed was fairly easy for me as a Jedi.  Cheap pussy for sale did not stop because the poverty remains prevelent.  $1500 was good in 2009 just like it still is today in 2018.  Why? Their economy did not change for the better.

The government officials are embarrassed that the young girls have to sell themselves due to the lack of a social welfare system but it speaks volumes to the level of corruption as well.;

George Washington ave and malecon have better options as oppose to sosua....since you drive all over Dominican republic, you should know it's better spots to go too. Overall our money fuels sosua, but eventually those cruise ships will bring a different crowd to sosua; overlapping mongering dollars spent!

I do drive and those are the broken down hoes there by the gas station. Santo Domingo is about spitting in the various lounges and car washes and high end clubs.  The hoes at the brothels are average at best if you know the streets, but again no place on the island where you have a bunch of John's and hoes totally crowded out in the open like pedro.  Again, do not take it personally, but I am on a fact checking flow.  Whole lot of shit is said on here that is not true, but people who do not flow do not know.  For example, hoes all on the malecon in pop and miami - not true.  Also, I never said shit is complicated I said these three things and you win learn Spanish, learn how to dance, and look good for the chicks and you win.  Not rocket science. I do not care what anyone says go into Miami- pop, lovera Santiago, quorum, jet set, eurphoria, energy with no spainish and you will not pop.  Those chicks there do not want to be scene talking with a gringo through translator.  It's about image to them, but go challenge me.  I always can be wrong.  You in Santo domingo you have a different plan then pop.  I said 100 times on here people make the same mistakes everytime they go to Santo domingo.  Pop has changed trust me please go on a Sunday write a trip report of pulling a chick on the malecon.  I just give facts of what's up.  You do not like them do not read them.

The beauty about life is when you do not give a fuck.  I learn the hard way.  I make my mistakes and I get up and keep it moving. I could care less what people think about what I say that is why I keep talking, but i never need to lie to impress no one I am who I am.  I fail it's all on me. That is how I like it. Motherfuckers talking about a wack club they going too, but they trying to check me. Love the game take advice from people that really know ..

They are there.  They showed you love which is good and they want to give you respect because you a good dude, but they will pounce on the loud mouth gringo asking a chick how much.  They will set up him up.  Saw it happen to a Canadian who was lit on the malecon.  Again, not ever going to lie. Hoes have run out of kaviar and malecon because they are on the block.

So as with the title of the thread and the rationale behind the boycott.  It is you Bourbon Street that has taken shit too far in the quieter Sosua. You got in allegiance with a self promoting Sithlord and he don't give a fuck about the Dominican chicas that are put on blast.  The current regeim wants to go out on a high note in order to hopefully keep the momentum rolling once she is gone.  But before she leaves she is going to take down as many doubters as she can to show she did exactly what they wanted her to do.

If you're stupid enough to get in with the Taylor Made Fuck Up, you just made her job soo much easier.  Black frats and sororities come to Sosua to do community work?  Yeah right!

@saint

Let's clarify some things, my comments were directed to blackknight and you decided to add your two sense. I'm sure every member on this board has been to different spots of Dr just like you, and you sound ridiculous thinking what you say is not fare of assessment based upon my opinion!

Let me ask you this:

Are you Dominican?
Do you live there full time?
Can you speak the language fluently?

I can almost guarantee that those three questions I asked will be "no", so who are you suppose to be...You act like you're the ambassador/ ministry of information for Dominican of republic....get yourself a paper bag breath and sit in the corner for timeout..

The laws in dr dont make sense. Prostitution is legal but promoting prostitution is  illegal ? :-\
