No we just don’t like paying $15 for bland rubbery chicken that gives you the runs. As of nine TVs are going to distract me from the fact that I’ve got Montezuma’s revenge 🤣

Such a simple minded man.  Now you sure as the fuck could not hoodwink me with the money grab of the timeshares, and broken promises----so do you really believe an abundance of some chicken wings and beer is enough to sway a Jedi, then your mindset and your agenda has once again shown thru.

Just offer the black folks some beer and chicken and they will come running; once again the Jedi are not swayed.

The boycott continues...................

I am with you I desliked this place since day ONE, I am not an el cheapo but I refused to pay American prices for garbage thats what I think about the food there plus the place looks stupid very cheaply built but expensive prices.

Average meal at Bourbon Street is $12 If thats overpriced for you then its obvious that you are not our target audience. Kinda like the 1500 peso guys. Yeah you could get a cheaper meal somewhere else but did you really travel to another country on vacation to save $2 on a hamburger. If you did, that says a lot more about you than it does about my business

I think the question should be, "Do you travel to another country on vacation to eat the same shit you get in the states at an inflated price"? Honestly, $12.00 for bar food and fries is pretty pricey. Especially in the DR where a full plate of pollo quisado o cerdo, arroz o moro y un Presidente normal es 350-400 pesos..

Hey I get it. I'm not knocking your way of thinking. Im just curious why you only limit it to food. Do you travel to another country to live the same way that you live in the states? Why stay at a place like Terra Linda or New Garden for $70 per night, its kinda pricey, especially when you can cop a place in charrimicos for $10 per night? Like I said, everyone has different beliefs and different tastes. There are some people that think $12 is too much to pay for a meal. Im not knocking those people, I'm just saying that those people are not my customer base.

I travel to a lot of countries throughout the region. I live in the Caribbean calling POP as home. Each island is unique in its own way, and I prefer to embrace those differences. It makes for a much more enjoyable stay than sitting up in some fancy ass overpriced place with people who are not in my "wanna hang out with" target base.  I like my fried fish whole.. Head (best part) and all. I like my beer coming out of a freezer and not a cooler, and when I order food, I want a plate of food to eat, not food art to look at as you have posted on this site.

Ya know Bourbon Street, There is something bothering me about your response citing "People in your customer base". Yeah, I have no problems in charrimicos, Gaspar Hernandez, or even Los Altos where I play pool. I'm not knocking how another man makes a living mind you, but I'm also very aware of the aspirations that government and many business owners in Sosua have regarding tourism. Are you included in those aspirations? A very nice hotel with NY style fine cuisine to match.. Yet you are spending time on a monger board plugging away for your business. I'm sure you're very aware that the average person on this board is more at home at Flip Flops eating tacos and staying at NG, or one of the other 50.00/ night hotels, and you're definitely set up for a much higher end clientele. So I figure that you're doing the best you can for your business with what you have to work with which is looking for mongers business. That's what bothers me because if the "Customer Base" you guys had hoped for actually showed up, then you wouldn't be looking for business on this board.. In essence, you're in here "slummin" for business on this board.. If you think you're better than the normal gents that frequent this board, then you should look somewhere else for your "Customer Base". BTW, when I first started coming here, I always stayed at Seabreze for $30.00/night.

Ah haaaa!!! Even Sosuaman Jedi  has recognized this Sith Lord as well!!

Once again, it is we the black mongers that they depend on to carry the load of keeping them afloat but has no regard whatsoever as they destroy our paradise with importing in American Black Women.  Sorry but I come to Sosua for Dominica tits and ass; Black females can stay in the MATRIX!!!

The MATRIX that supports them with police brutality and the courts that incarcerates the fathers of their children.  They use this system as a means of retaliation only because they can.  They know if they want to hurt a black man because they did not get their way all they have to do is;

- Tell a lie to a Cop
- Tell a lie to a Judge

So eloquently put that I have nothing to add except if He was honest I’d respect them, They are not. They are doing the ultimate fake it till you make it. Unfortunately their money is not long enough to fake it so they won’t be able to outlast before they can return on their investment. But if you listen to them Bourbon Street has people giving hello amazing reports with picture perfect staged moments with not a soul around. But that’s believable how about Bourbon Street is jampacked because of the boycott like we’re not walking by every day watching the spider set up shop...

People here would pay for high-quality in a heartbeat. The customer base here definitely is Johnny lunch bucket. But there are many of us here to pockets have deep deep bottoms. Unfortunately when we go to these places that supposed to be serving New Orleans Cajun style food and we get nothing more than niggas employing Dominicans instructed  to sprinkle some old Bay and calling it Cajun well I gotta speak up..

I think you really are missing what I was saying. I was not saying that people on this board are not my customer base. I said YOU Y-O-U are not my customer base. And like I said, Im cool with that. Nothing against you at all. You can vacation/live and spend your money wherever you want. I have been coming to Sosua since 2003. I opened my first Business is Sosua(VH) in 2013 for 10 years I was a super monger. That shit is still in me. I come to this site for the same exact reason as you T&A. I just happen to own a couple businesses in Sosua. I fuck with a lot of dudes on this board, a lot of them come into both businesses and guys from this board are a vital part of both businesses. People that think $12 for a meal is too much are not my customers. People that want to eat Dominican food are not my customers. Sorry! I dont know what exactly rubbed you the wrong way. I tried to be as politically correct as possible. You commented about where people would feel most comfortable. People from this board feel very comfortable at Bourbon Street, actually they feel more comfortable at our place than any other place in Sosua. Statistically speaking of course, What did Diddy say? Men lie, women lie, numbers dont. I spend a lot of time on this board looking for Trip Reports and pictures, I run a 7 figure business in Sosua , I spend a lot of time letting this demographic know whats going on with my businesses. All 3 of those things are not mutually exclusive. They are independent facts.

I swear you are the Black Donald Trump. Replace Black Women with the word Mexican, Replace matrix with Mexico, and Replace Sosua with America and you got yourself a Donald Trump starter kit. Instead of Boycotting the NFL you Boycotting Bourbon Street. If you read your post within those contexts then all one would hear is MAKE SOSUA GREAT AGAIN!

No Bourbon Street.. I got what you were saying loud and clear.. To be specific, the portions of your post below in bold rubbed me the wrong way. You don't like normal everyday people.. That's your problem. What I dislike is people who are phony. Especially ones who post condescending remarks to a man who was simply stating his short opinion. You're right. I'm NOT in your client base, but I do eat and drink at Big Franks place a little further south where it's more expensive than yours.. I wonder why.. You might want to hit him up for a few pointers..

Come on, dont play the victim here. You made a comment I gave you a real ass answer. I meant every word of it. Im a everyday person. What do you mean by I dont like everyday people? My customers are not people that think $12 is to much for a meal. What is offensive about that? thats like me getting rubbed the wrong way because Victoria Secrets left me off their mailing list. You said $12 was kinda pricey and I asked you if you applied that logic to everything in Sosua, not just food? You said you did. Cool. Live on my brother!

Don't you dare.  I am dead on point and keep it there.  Sosua is Black man's paradise and you are in allegiance with yet another idiot that is doing nothing more than destroying it; the Taylor Made Fuck-Up himself.  That Fred Sanford looking fool started posting numerous videos on YouTube professing about how great the life here was; outside of the MATRIX and now this idiot is on a mission in order to bring the MATRIX to the paradise and thereby destroy it.

Funny how both of you have the same agenda to put money in your pockets while stepping on black men along the way. Not enough black men to hoodwink?  Let's go after black women and get them to come on down as well.  Right, and you won't be happy until the Sosua environment becomes one of hostility and betrayal.  These Black women that you are doing your very best to cater to are going to remember that you and your business invited them to "Whore Town."   That action alone will once again have this thing that we do on full blast on the covers of Ebony, Jet and Essence magazines.

"People from this board feel very comfortable at Bourbon Street, actually they feel more comfortable at our place than any other place in Sosua."

What a big fucking lie this is.  This is laughable.  The Tree House got you beat hands down.  All day, everyday.  Oh that's right?  Your business partner (The Taylor Made Fuck-Up) damn near got them shut down and I hear he's not allowed to step foot in either one of his spots anymore!!  $12 for a meal at your spot?  While I am in Ho Town?  I can get a $3--- 2 Piece Fried Chicken with Noodles and Vegetables practically RIGHT across the street!!  You want the white MTV crowd so you don't need us black mongers. Go get them.

Therefore the Boycott continues...…………..

If that's what you need to do to feel better then you go on with it.. You have your big customer base for your high society trending 6 figure business.. I wish you all the luck in the world. You going to need it.. You say you've been here for some 11 odd years.. Then you know that anyone coming to Sosua or the DR for that matter wanting to make a million dollars better bring two million with them.. Go on with yourself, and leave me out of it. I like Bourbon Street nice place to chill and watch the action. Food is cool price is ok but I guess there is a push to hold the line at 800 peso. I think Ahnvee is a bit expensive I normally stay at the Gardens Condos for about $40 a day. Sometimes I hit up the guy grilling chicken and get a whole chicken for $300 peso or go to Sinatras when they have the 2 for 1 special or cook something. I wouldn't spend 800 peso everyday but you get a great chilling spot at Bourbon street that is worth a few pesos by itself. You guys argue about some of the dumbest shit. Ok that's my 2 cents Peace
