Yall Trippin .. My carry-on bag is normally empty until I get to Miami!  What goes in it after that?  Vodka, Patron and Hennessey!!

GET YOUR LIQUOR FROM THE DUTY FREE!!!!!!!!! Prior to arrival!

Skip the Patron and go with the Don Julio 1942

For you liquor folks, how the rum cream in the DR?  Is it anything close to Jamaican rum cream?

Give a try to Barcelo Cream if you are into that kind of liquor.
I brought back one on my first trip and I gave a sip to my best friends wife ... she's a Bailey's lover and once she tasted that one, I had to give her the bottle ... I am not a fan of these things but I must admit that if I had to chose between Bailey's and Barcelo Cream, i'd chose Barcelo.

I am not sure what the rules coming into the DR are. But coming back to the states you are allowed to bring up to one 1 liter bottle in your checked bag, duty free.

Brought back a bottle of Brugal Extra Viejo, which is tough to find in the states.
Great minds think alike. I love Brugal. The big booze stores have it in the US. Usually the smaller ones it is Bacardi, Captain Morgans, Kraken, Malibu, Mt. Gay, a couple of well brands.

Glad we have something here in Quebec that you don't in the US :P
Here we have Brugal anejo, extra viejo, XV, 1888, siglo de oro and sometimes, Papa Andres only in a particular store in Quebec city ... makes me think it's some rich folk there doing private imports ... that shit cost 1500$CA
