Halloween events will be weekend before..

Now I dont have a horse in the race so when I talk it seems like Hate.. lol

Anyway, For three years in Sept to Oct they cut the street Hours.. I HONESTLY dont know why but they have done it for the third year now.

For 10 years the strip was supposed to move and Yada Yada Yada... IF they FINALLY Move the strip (15 years ago it was by Europa) then guess what? Your trip does NOT change.

Logistics of Sosua... This is a BEACH town. Everything revolves around the BEACH..  If the Strip Moves, All Hotels will be in the SAME spot and the sand will still be on the beach.
The Reality is the BEACH would be the main place to be before 8/9 pm..  Then you would just hop a moto or cab and go down to the clubs.

Same as you do now.. Chill/hunt all day then hit the club at night.

The Sky is falling syndrome is crazy because this has been going on forever and Nothing has ever come of it.

None of it affects YOUR trip. Until they move Playa Sosua, everything will be ok.

Big difference from then and now! Presidente and attorney general are ordering clean up! Hence they traveled to them, it’s not about local bitchin anymore it’s about how are we doing it! Like it or not it’s going to happen :(

Sosua will not survive without whores and mongers all Hotels bars and restaurants will go out of business. For one the hotel rooms aren't built to fit multiple family members and them they will have to buy at least two to three rooms. Puerto Plata already has a cruise line coming in. I don't understand this Dominican government like everybody's eating off this we make up a big part of the economy in Puerto Plata

I hear so many guys speak on this and they say the same thing. This could not be any further from the truth. Hoes and the guys that spend money on Hoes mean absolutely NOTHING to Sosua, the authorities, or big businesses. They are exactly what Sosua does not want. Im from South Florida so the best example I can give is Overtown and the other projects around downtown Miami. That would be like all of the drug dealers and crack heads saying that without their dollars the neighborhood would die. In their little world they think that may be true because all the little hotels cater to the drug dealers, prostitutes, and crack heads. These people spend money in the little stores and in a way the drug money supports that little community. But you would sound like a idiot if you said that Miami NEEDS the dope fiends money. Couldn't be any further from the truth.

In Sosua we are the dope fiends. Yeah we spend money but it is a huge eyesore. When American Airlines arena came in they completely got rid of the drugs and prostitutes in that area and they turned the fucked up real estate into Million Dollar Condos. Gentrification at its finest. The minute, no the second a serious project comes along that wants prostitution minimized or even gone it will be over. In Miami it took the American Airlines Arena. When that type of project comes to Sosua this shit will be over. A lot of projects say they are coming but in the end they fall through. A Marriott was supposed to come to Sosua Beach, thats when they were talking about getting rid of the shacks, in the end it didn't happen. The authorities gotta hedge their bets. They can't get rid of the scene now because they don't have another viable option but the second that option comes Sosua is over.

I agree, and don't be mistaken. I want and need your business. Im telling you what the government thinks. And trust me when I tell you they are not trying to do both. They are trying to make it attractive to big investors. Until that happens (and it very well may never happen) they want to control it and take it out of downtown. Thats the first step to attracting a big investor.

Here are my .02.

As long as prostitution is legal in DR, Sosua will never die. The hunting grounds might change with the proposed red light district but the prey will still be there for the hunters or shoud I say us Mongers. The places where chicas congregate may change but you will still have chicas coz they need the money.

As long as prostitution is legal, Sosua will never die.

If you guys continue to listen to  dude what a vested interest pushing a specific agenda is just so there a piece of shit properties can finally get some real estate value  through  comparable appreciation then y’all continue to listen to  same dude that told you they don’t need your money but now are claiming they do. Also the same dude’s told you  they are doing soooo well that they need to sell shitty tap beer and wings for 20 bucks  just to copy a taco shop business plan..

But what I will tell you is this they don’t give a shit about prostitution and they definitely don’t give a shit about sosua  this is just a way for them to start selling shitty properties in a shitty area. If you believe that they can somehow create a “red light district“ then you should also believe that you can find love with a hooker.

Also I have a bridge in Brooklyn that’s for sale for you guys so believe this. Just understand this is been going on since 2008  after the Niggas came to the Sew and ran amok..

And David is been planning on building two new clubs in the same area because the property is cheap ever since 2015. He’s also been planning to open the secret stripper club in the back of City Lights. But that shit still hasn’t materialized either so. 🤷🏽‍♂️

PS there are lots for sale in that area for 50,000 pesos. Not $50,000 usd..

You Do the math and realize that all it is is a bunch of property owners in that area trying to boost up property value so that they can finally get rid of the shitty properties. And just so you understand people that are in misery with the business also want company. Just ask yourself what big idiot spent hundreds of thousands of dollars over paying for a shit property. And now trying to pass the loss on to other mongers. I wonder who 🤔

The first honest thing finally posted from this specific account. Man the tune is really changing. I suppose he’s not going to continue cleaning that “high-end clientele bullshit”. You know why because he’s Struggling. Since most dudes have been made aware of his business practices since once you burn if you guys of a couple grand they start talking

20 or so years ago the DR was a revolving door business with new customers every week. Now the internet has people talking and taking pictures and video and sharing them in real time. All easy to search for anyone.

The days of who cares if you lose a customer there will be another one is over for the DR. Problem is still plenty of people who still can't accept that fact.

This is absolutely correct. In addition it’s especially true for sosua, Which is why bourbon street after claiming to be looking for a high-end clientele is selling unlimited wings and beer for 20 bucks. You see this what people say and then there’s what people do. I never listen to people’s mouth flapping I just watch the moves and it tells everything.

I personally have never seen Sosua as some fabulous beach town where we are keeping away hordes of Euros and "family oriented" tourists. The beach is nice but there are places throughout the Caribbean, Central, South America that put Sosua to shame. I could be wrong, I just don't see Sosua as ever turning into some premium tourist destination. It's a nice beach, some regular bars and food spots thrown around here and there -- with the obvious twist which makes us go and it's convenient. Take away the twist and I personally don't see the appeal.

I just left Sosua Monday on the 935 to Miami.  I can tell you definitively the plane was loaded with brothers at least 2/3 it’s cspacity.  I saw no families and even fewer Dominicans going o the states to work.  5 days four nights in Sosua and I am witness to a Sosua that I don’t see changing any time in the near future.  No passions, no CMP, no rumbas, no Dlatim drink,  no pic a flora and Sosua is still Sosua.  You have police chasing the chicas from corner to corner and everything is still the same.  I did three days of sports f and I am witness to if you want to roll in Sosua it’s still there and available.  I know the powers that be want to see families return to Sosua but I don’t see even an iinkiling of that happening.  I was there when both casa marina reef and Sosua bay were popular AI’s,  focusing on family vacations.  Well that’s gone Sosua bay folded and casa marina reef is holding on by its purse strings.  What’s next?   Willy Chamo !!’

This is absolutely accurate. There’s nothing different now except for the fact that the main spots of interest have been closedown. Or have been watered down so that it’s a flickering flame compared to the roaring forest fire it was before,  although there’s less choices one can make the argument that it’s actually better now because the women have less choices and are less likely to Skoff at your offer.
