Some dudes kill me rather eat from the shit holes and get the shits all day! To each is own! Bourbon St.,Baileys, big d's and Tera Linda only spits that never made me sick! No matter what you spend it's still dirt cheap compared to what I regularly spend! Dudes mind frames are bent! If you pay $50 for a steak in the US and get the same steak for $25 in DR they yell it's a rip off! Huh! Same with chicas! Will spend $300 on a date or even escort but not $100 for a better looking chic  in DR. Don't get it!

On this one, I agree 100%. Over in the DR everything is cheaper compared to US, even the hoes.

That's where you idiots got it all confused.  Why are you comparing prices in the states?  You aren't in the states.  You're in a third world country.  DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT compare it to the states, doesn't even come close.
Oh and who's buying a god damn $50 steak anywhere? WTF man?  You got one of them Donald Trump steaks didn't you?

Not quite breakfast, not quite lunch, and you get a slice of cantaloupe...

I dont do brunch. The problem for me with all you can eat and drink events is... I eat all i can eat, and I drink all I  can drink. I can see pulling in there at 11:00, having my mimosa glass constantly topped up. and being poured out at around 3:00, somehow making it home and then falling asleep and waking up at 10:00 pm with a sparkling wine hangover, and not be able to move for 24 hours.

I do think the price is probably correct, a decent hotel in Cabaret or Puerto Plata is likely offering something similar Is going to be $1000-1200

Bourbon,

Just wanted to let you know that the Brunch today was really all that! Fuck what any of the naysayers have to say. Nothing like that in Sosua. You just took Sunday breakfast to another level. For any of you guys that will be in town over the next couple of weeks make sure you guys go over there on Sunday. Food was great!

Based on Rookie of the years very favorable report...

I can see This becoming pretty popular, the fellas are gonna add it to the list of must do events, and they can eat at tables of ten and get fast service. The chicas, sensing a critical mass of men. Will show off their Sunday best after going to church and since they are still rocking the blow dry from the salon and a pocket full of pesos they will come out. ( a little marketing and encouragement may be needed, birthday girl eats free... 2 for 1 chica price)

Mothers Day, Easter Sunday, the better off locals might come.

Could become an institution! It will be awesome seeing the all you can drink mimosa filled chicas in their sun dresses and high heels spilling into the street at 3:00 pm.

I like Bourbon Street for a nice churrasco with chimmichuri sauce (not sure if they still have the sauce).  It is my go to spot for a good meal when I'm in the mood for steak.  I doubt I will try the brunch though as I stay away from all you eat buffets.  I with them the best of luck though!

So much hate for Bourbon Street, I don't know why? If you don't like it, keep it moving. Food is good, never had bad service ever. Never got sick from eating there.

Couple suggestions though for the brunch, as I always go to ones in NYC/Jersey. 11am-3pm is better, get some hookahs...never seen any hookahs in sosua, wonder why??

Finally getting a chance to catch my breath after such a busy weekend. Just wanted to thank all of you guys that came out to support on Sunday. We had a really good turn out. Most guys I've ever seen at 1 time in a spot for breakfast. There a couple of things that need to be tweaked but I was satisfied with the overall event. We will be right back at it again this Sunday at 10am

Hooka is illegal in the DR. Now, there are plenty of people that have hookah in their bars but its technically illegal. If I was Dominican I would do it and there would be no problem but as a gringo its too risky. you could slide someone a couple of bills to look the other way but at that point they would own you. I will consider the later hours. Always looking for feedback from you guys

Never had a problem with food or service at Bourbon St. The drinks are so-so, but the staff are very professional and Ron the cook is a character!!

Wow...Hookah is illegal in the DR?  I did not know that.  I see it in most of the clubs in La Romana and Bavaro.  Anyways, it's always good to know what is legal and illegal in another country.

Once weed becomes COMPLETELY legal in the US & Canada (canada will be fully legal by july of next year) all this shit will be thrown out the window. DR will allow you smoke weed and hookahs all day I promise you.

Canada maybe, but the U.S.? It's going to tale a long long time before the entire U.S. Legalize it. They are doing on a state per state basis. And there's plenty of state that's going to resist it.
