If he can open a decent club to compete with Classicos hes got a good idea especially if they actually force all the businesses at that end to move by the end of the year.

Not saying not a good idea, but at end of day.  You need to have pretty chicks in your place.  You do not have that then what do you have.  You cannot just invite chicks to come and hope they will.  You have to make it worth there while as sosua is different then the regular club in the DR.  Day parties in vegas and Miami a certain group of chicks are given bottles to attend and get in free no line. The quickest way your club dies if all dudes and no chicks or busted chicks.

One of the big problems with posting things on this board is that it’s closely monitored. I can’t go into details about the day parties  but trust that I’m not some rookie that’s just going to open up the doors at 2pm, turn on the music and just hope that people show up.

As far as marketing goes, I agree, it’s the most important part of any venture. We are getting things out on social media and we will have a impressive ground game the week of.

To be honest I’m not worried about a weekly Thursday party or the day parties. I think they will start strong. The months of Feb, March, and April will be strong. It’s May and beyond that I’m worried about. My other worry is Friday night. I have a group of Models that want to host a industry night every Friday but they are adamant about having a strict No Puta Policy. That’s one of the biggest challenges of Sosua. There are very few places outside of the Supermarkets where chicas, tourist, and regular people mix. The question is can a club survive inside of my resort. To do so I’ve got to find a way to mix, tourist, mongers, chicas, and locals.

@bourbon mannnn you got the game plan right there !! If you can walk that fine line and everyone can have a good time .Locals , mongers, putas and non putas ...Skybox will be a true gem and I'm pulling for it to win ..I think it comes down to music ...the type of music you play will have a very big impact on the crowd ..If you black it out it will suck ...You gotta have a dope DJ ..invite some musical acts in .It work in Colombia..and well Kivar ... Everyone mixes there ..I will be there and I definitely pop in and support .PM if you need any tips or anything .I'm sure you got things covered.Good luck

Was having a conversation about staff in a "real world" place. Two three years ago I went to meet a friend at an Oyster Bar in Vancouver, i go there early. Thought it was a bit odd that all the staff were men. Not in a gay waiter in a bistro kinda men, but ... Men. Like deadliest catch, lumberjack, ranch hand fawken men. I am like.. Whats with this place?

By 5:30 it was packed with women heading home from work. By 7:00 there was a line up at the door of... MEN, because the place was filled with women!

Just a "real world" anecdote that has no bearing on Sosua. Carry on.

Not sure of the point.  I just was in Miami this weekend.  All the places I hung out in had hot chicks from waitstaff to chicks hanging out in the spot.  Having an all men staff not going to work in miami. You think an all men staff will work in sosua?

Fuck no... I am talking Real World. About how to attract women to a place as customers, which in turn... attracts the men. And it would be HUGE in Miami. and BTW, neither you, nor I, nor anyone reading this post would get the job.

Regarding your last point:
Just follow the model of some of the top clubs in Santiago

1.  Professionally run club with clean, comfortable and enjoyable environment
2.  Ladies of all types welcome to come and enjoy. If they connect and leave with someone good for them. No pucking in the club.
3.  This will be harder to enforce in Sosua than it is in Santiago but known puta's that harass or rip off patrons are barred from the premise.
3.  Price the experience so most can come in and enjoy themselves but the delinquents think it's not worth the expense
5.  VIP experience available at different levels. Groups that come in and spend the hundred or two that they saved up leave feeling just as good as the boss that came through and dropped a couple grand.
2. Security, Security,Security. Floor completely covered and capable of rapidly escorting out any imbecile or groups of imbeciles causing trouble.

The key here is the working girls are doing their thing and nobody really knows other than them and who they connect with. Cant really distinguish a working girl from a red hot dominicana just out enjoying herself and willing to connect with someone that she likes.

The pricing thing... a shit load of women, and men, post up in Merengue and never buy a drink. I am sure it is the same upstairs. I have said before I thought Merengue should have a cover charge to keep the rats out that don’t have a chance on getting picked.

Not saying bottle service, but some sort of minimum including the door fee should halt the delinquents.

Sponsored by Presidente. A beer tub at the door, 150 to get in and your beer from the tub is included.

Leave and come back? Another $150? Could be. My plan needs some work.

It would not be huge in Miami despite some people thinking it was great analogy.  The hot clubs in Miami have minimum bottle consumption anywhere from $3,500.00  and up.  The higher numbers you get chicks from the strip clubs to join you  for free up to you to close with more money added at the end of the night.  Trust me you do not want to be hanging around some lumberjack dudes working in the club when you spending that type money.

Only way you get away with a mix of clientele is hiring Dominican artists to allow you to mix it up.  Normal chicks in the DR do not want to be around gringos with no game who can only pull putas.  That is why your model chicks said no putas as they know that non pros do not want to be around that.  They are warning you that mix will not work. Again, exactly why dimes have left sosua.  You got to know that.  Look how kaviar has changed to a local nightclub with very few putas.  Most dudes on here cannot do well in a local DR nightclub.  The problem you play Dominican music. Dudes just standing around as they cannot pop with that sound or dance.  So, they just stand around and not vibe. Not an easy solution. You can do social media all you want the minute it is known your club allows putas normal chicks are gone.

Real world... Real world... Real world... Not Sosua, not $3500.00 minimum charge shit...  Real world stuff.

100% a 120-150 seat restaurant/bar/lounge on Lincoln Ave (or any reasonably sophisticated urban centre) with no cover, no minimum, decent food, but with bartenders and servers that are instagram influencer level men is filling up with single ladies (cause they ain't going to Hooters) after work, and in turn the men will follow them.

Sosua? I don't think there is enough of any demographic to launch a spot without the obvious in attendance. So following the lead of the Santiago spots would be a starting point.

Something that would attract the ladies (pro-non pro) that are in the area that i don't believe is being addressed would be to sink some serious money into the ladies rooms. They would be scurrying from all ends of the strip to take a piss and a selfie.

From what I have seen in the DR a door fee is not really common unless a top notch artist is playing that night and even then most of the hot chicas still do not get charged.

Having a mix of table space and standing tables can solve the issue of those that come in and stand around without spending anything. They are welcome to stand around and maybe hover around one of the standing tables until someone comes in who want's to buy something. When the paying customers arrive bouncers randomly pick which of the non paying patrons will be removed from their position. This keep the club looking full and on nights when things are popin the only space for non paying patrons will be out on the sidewalk. Again, I see this model work in all of my fav  spots in santiago. They have been  doing it for years.

From a general price point perspective it should just be high enough that the barrio boy's do not think it's an economical place to go and get their drink on but low enough that working class folks, particularly women, feel they can go and get  their money's worth. The only big  question here is I am not sure if Sosua has the same volume of emerging/working/middle class patrons that a city like Santiago does. My gut feel is that between the locals and tourist of all types the answer is yes but again not certain.

What is the capacity of the spot .That will also play a huge factor as well

Yeah, I think Merengue has that just expensive enough beer at $150 to keep the boys out price, and the chicas can get a pink something for $100. And I have seen security move some girls from chairs if they don’t have a drink. Just a few too many that somehow would not get the nod if I was on the door.
