hold up, rick from Rumbas let you get on the 1' and 2's.

If Rick is the older White Guy with the salt and pepper hair, I would be suprised if he let someone else DJ. He will barely give out the WIFI code. LMAO

I'm not sure what the guys name was in Rumba. I wish they would of let me in DLatins. That shit would be lit!

Definitely looking to link with anyone down there during that time.

DLatin's was lit.  So lit from running out of alcohol.  Shut down DLatin and opened Classico.  That was Valentines Day 2013.

Shit if they let me spin they would wanna give me residence at any of those spots. Im goin see about gettin in the booth while I'm there in June.

If you are decent, that may happen.  Then you would get sick of it.  Can't keep it Hip Hop the whole time.  Maybe like 20 minutes tops.  So I figure I could whip up some local music samples in Abelton and remix them shits into a mashup.  Nope!  Was constantly rode on by the manager that night about making Reggaeton, "Hippy Hoppy."  Shit, nobody wanted to leave to fuck their bitches when this lights came on, so I did my part.  But they stupid so I handed my resident DJ card back and stick with the Puerto Plata clubs.

I thought Rick was the buff dark skin cat.  Works on the beach in the day too.

Im talking about the dominican dude with the braided pony tail. Hes been there forever. Took that dude 6 yrs to talk to me. Swear it. Not a word until my last trip in December. And youre right wont give the Wi-Fi code out. Lol. The owner is a heavier white guy. I think he got deported a few yrs ago. Hed just be in Rumbas on his tablet chilling
You wouldnt even know he was the owner. And speaking of d'latin. Did Willy el Chamo win the election.

Rick was the Manager at Rumba, but he and the owner got into a beef over money and responsibilities and he got fired. He has now opened up a restaurant further down the strip close to Plan B. I stopped by to see him last week, it's a small shop, that you'll pass, unless you were looking for it. I think he's the waiter, cook and the cashier all at the same time....lol.

I played in Rumba & D Latin many times. I know DJ Pachiry in Rumba. The old jewish guy with the beard who was the manager would tell him not to let out of town DJ's play lol. But I still got my shine.
