Bachatero my bad. I forgot to respond to one of your questions. Don Pio is my favorite spot in Bavaro for everyday eating. I have befriended the entire staff including the owners there so they didn't officially charge me anything for cooking the lobster. I slid the cook 500 pesos for it, though. When you go ask for Herminio. He's the manager there and will take great care of you. They also have live music on Friday night so if you want to do a little dancing go on Friday. It's a great time. Citrus on the end of the plaza is my other go to restaurant. I'm pretty tight with both the Dominican manager and the Haitian assistant manager. If you prefer Citrus I can set it up for them to do the food prep for you, also.

Skeeter:  Thank you for your help!  I will seek out Herminio and make sure me and my boys take care of them.

Also, I've had trouble logging in.  Has anyone else had troubles this past week?

IAMPB let me know when you come through Punta Cana again. We can get up about that in a few weeks. Jellyfish is the spot in Punta Cana. I get by there every trip. Good seafood and this view is a good mix.

PB, do you remember where the strip club was located if you don't recall the name?

Sounds like the lil spot on Ave Espana. The dude who owns it is a Dominican cat from NY.  If you hit him up he'll send you pics of the girls working that night and deliver them to you. $75-$100 a night.

Planning a trip down and wanted to know if there are any good n cheap places to get seafood like lobster, fish, shrimp etc....

If you hit the beach, check out #64 Jorge's restaurant. Got a whole fried fish for $400 pesos. Shrimp, conch and all that very tasty and excellent prices. They got beach chairs and tables too. Went there a cple times last trip.

Dude was from NYC that owned the spot because I had my yankee fitted on and he commented.

The place is called Secrets.  It can be hard to find.  I've driven by it so many times and didn't even see it for years.  It's on the north side of Ave. Espana and it has a small parking lot.  I haven't been there in a couple of years, but I've seen a few decent chicas that my friends pulled from there.

My GF took me up there last year and she didn't know it was a strip club.  I of course played stupid.  We walked in and then walked out a minute later.  She then hit the guy downstairs that told her it was a normal nightclub and that she would like it.  He laughed is Dominican ass off (and I did too).
