Both are good choices
If I was traveling alone I would go with casa cayena
Wilfred is a good guy and the food is pretty good

Just my opinion:
I see only a couple advantages of Sosua Suites over Casa Cayena:  SS is closer to the action, Rumbas & D'Latins. SS has a separate living room and bedroom and a kitchen. But it is bare bones.  CC has only a refrigerator, but who cooks?
However: Casa Cayena is only about two minutes further walk from the action.
CC has the best beds I have seen in Sosua.
CC has Breakfast & dinner included & good.
CC Rooms are being remodeled a bit, flat screen TVs, etc.
CC has a large inroom safe to hold a laptop.
CC is quieter at night.
CC has excellent WiFi/SS WiFi isn't always strong.
Both Rick at SS & Wilfried at CC are good hosts.
In summary, about the real reason I could see for staying at Sosua Suites over Casa Cayena is that SS is closer to the action.
