Swizzla mix and grill jamaica restaurant by seabreeze and the ice cream shop is ok but in my opinion a little or a lot pricey.  I have to try the jamaican restaurant on the beach in 2 weeks.  New York pizza is ok, probably the best pizza i've had in DR.  Fish on sosua beach is overpriced 600 pesos or more and the fish is small compared to boca chica beach (2 ladies have a small stall next to each other a few yards before the actual beach by the big old hotel that was shut down) 350 pesos with tostones and batata, delicious!!  Chicken soup at Sinatras?? is good so is breakfast there but then you have to pay all those taxes and tips.  There is a late night 24 hour spot by the other beach where I used to eat.  They changed management recently and I sent my motoconcho to get me and my chica burgers fries and soup.  We start eating then she starts laughing.  I ask whats the matter and she holds up the burger and says caballo.  I say what?  She pulls up a imoji or whatever of a horse and we almost died laughing.  We started fucking with my motoconcho sending him pictures of a horse telling him that he brought us horse meat.  Whenever we chat now she always send a picture of fries burgers and a horse!!  Welcome to the DR!!
My man....New York Pizza is garbage compared to Terra Linda Pizza. Please go and get it the next time you're in Sosua. You will thank me later.

Midtown is my fav. It is located at Las Palmas hotel near Rumbas. The owner is a guy from Boston, and the food is very good.

One time i was going to give a salon friend a few pesos for lunch or buy her something to eat.  She said she wanted Pizza from Terra Linda (I believe its after the colmado/little grocery store).  I went up the stairs to check out the price of the pizza.  I believe the pizza was like 600 or 800 pesos.  Needless to say I didn't buy it. I gave her 200 pesos and went on my way.  I've only had pizza at NY pizza and 2 restaurants in Boca Chica thus my best pizza i've had in DR.

I've only had breakfast there.  Breakfast is pretty good and the owner is alright too.

Bourbon is my fave, Baileys when I want a fruit plate and a frozen drink... I can't even remember the name of the Dominican Spot that I go to eat.  The only way that I can explain it is go past where Passions use to be, turn right, go to the next corner and turn left. Follow that street all the way to the end. There is a dominican restaurante there and you will be the only gringo.... But it will be full of Dominicans. It's best to go at noon. Going early ensures that you get what you want and they have free WiFi

I normally eat at Bailey's every day.  If I get up for breakfast then I'm happy with a Dominican breakfast of fried cheese and salami.

For my second meal I normally find a Dominican spot and eat a ham and cheese sandwich or my favorite is a Dominican chimi.  No restaurants serve Chimis it's Dominican street food.  The best Chimis are on the island are in La Romana, but you can find decent ones in Sosua...just ask your favorite chica.

Chimichurri's look good. Below is a link to some Dominican Foods. Number 22 is the Chimichurris. Looks awesome.

Unfortunately #22 is simply at hamburger...Dominican street style (mostly found in Santo Domingo).  For me and most Dominicans a Chimi is from pork.  The wifey got in an argument with one of the vendors in Santo Domingo about what a real Chimi is...I guess to each his own.

The best Chimis are found in the street and in my opinion, La Romana.

This is what you should see when trying to find a good Chimi...notice the Pork!  And the best part is the skin.
