People, I tell no lies, I lead you not astray, for late paste night eats.

"fast food" I think it's called, right behind the gas station, open all night. Venezualans run it.  Arepas on point but other shit.

Also you got the burrito place, it's where all the hookers go get that cheap cupOnoodle soup but the burgers and burritos are good.

Absolutely anxious for my 1st visit to Sosua in September!  R&R after 6 years of stressful work without a real vacation.  Bought a lot of sunscreen, a couple of books for light reading (if I don't fall asleep in my lounge chair after a couple of drinks - Mamajuana?).  And definitely some good eats.  Speaking of which, any recommendations for the best (as in quality/taste) places for ...

Chico Guisado (do they also make curry down there?)
Sancocho
Mondongo
Lechon Asado
Bacalao Guisado
Pescado Frito

also, a good afternoon green salad.

For late night when almost everything is closed go up that side street in front of classico on the left side is a food cart that sells chopped up and grilled/fried beef ( i hope, jj) with tostones or french fries.  When I rent a place with no cooking facilities I sometimes hit that spot before calling it a night, 150 pesos.  Chick will love you for it, LOL jjjj

One of the best places to go is this spot called Happy Birthday 🎉🎈 Bar (&grill) it is located at the entrance of playa Sosua (the beach)  they make amazing drinks they have happy hour pretty much all the time the prices are really really really good the food I heard is amazing although technically I've only "heard"  but everyone I've spoken to lose it in there said the food is fantastic. Matter fact they even have us smoker now whether it be selling smoked chicken. Sounds delicious it's great also because even if you're not in the mood for American fair there is a taco shop literally 5 feet away from it it's an amazing place you should go check it out

Who can recommend me couple places that serve healthier food like chicken salad or something with vegetables? I'm getting sick of all the fried crap I always eat down there

If you don't know the basic lay out  Pedro Clisante runs east and west main cross street is Dr Rosen to the south is Hiway #5 to the south is Avende Martinez (Bailies ) to the west of that is the park of flags and Duarte street , at the end is the little playero and you are back to Pedro

Top Three.
Hands down no question it’s:

1: Flip Flop bar
2. Flip Flop Taco shop
3. Big D’s for BBQ.

If ypu talking after classico cl9ses, go to the 24 hour spot. Dont know the name of it, it is where most of girls will go for their food. It has a big thatch roof. Last time i walked there. Walk down PF till you get to the liquor store, then turn left and walk down till you get to the next large street, then turn right and walk till you see the metal gate blocking the street, then you are there. Rice and beans is a great way to end a night with some 🐔

you can’t miss it if you go to playa 🏖 Sosúa, FlipFlop taco 🌮 shop is at the entrance to the beach just follow the “yellow brick stairs” And look for the gentlemen  who will probably be giving a guy some pointers and having him served the best value to quality ratio of food in the entire sosua
