Based on a lot of the posts it seems like this place isn't too clean Lol
I don't mind paying more for a Marriott type room..mainly clean bed clean sheets comfortable etc...  but still want to be in the mix of everything.

Rooms are plenty clean at New Garden. Basic accommodations but perfect set up for mongering.

The owner is definitely an asshole though.

New Garden is a very good hotel with a very good reputation.  It’s always sold out most weekends so you are lucky if you get a room there even in the slow season.  It has some very old rooms on the A side and some newer rooms on the B side.  Some of the the B side rooms have jacuzzis.   About a year or two ago Lorenzo bought the hotel accross the street.  They remodeled it from the ground up and it has even newer rooms, however no jacuzzi rooms on that side of the street. New Garden is very popular for first timers because you don’t have to go anywhere.  There are a slew of chics that just walk by new garden day and night.  All  newbie needs to do is go there check in and make himself available and he gets laid all day if he wants.

Casa Valeria is right next door to New Garden. Brand new rooms and much quieter than New Garden. Ask for a Superior room, it's around $85/$90/night.......https://www.casavaleriasosua.com/

It's a cool spot..PERFECT location. Just pay a little extra for the gold or platinum rooms. Gold is on the side with the restaurant, but kinda updated. Platinum is the opposite side of the street. it's the newest addition and is a lot quieter than the other side. FYI: Room 6 is HORRIBLE!! It's on the "silver" side. Door doesn't lock or fully close, huge gap for mosquitos (they just gave me a can of raid) and an old ass safe

I stayed at New Garden 4 years ago for one day it was ok until I stayed at other places. I now always get a condo for less then hotel prices. Staying at new gardens is like staying in the projects everything is there but it's still the projects. Enjoy your stay were ever you chose.

Same here.  I first stayed at New Garden about 4 years ago when everything was booked out.  Might have even been my first trip to Sosua.  I paid about $60 or more..stayed one night and got out of there.  Basically being charged $60 for a $30 $35 room.  Check condos and apartments on AIRBNB $35 $40 $45 better price better quality and a kitchen.

This is a good hotel close to the action and chica friendly. Some guys go for the cheaper rooms and you get what you pay for. Pay $10 more a night and get the nicer more modern rooms. If you want a jacuzzi room its a little more too. This hotel is usually booked weeks in advance if you need multiple room so book early.

Agree NG is great for what it is. If you want US treatment look into a villa.

NG = Close to strip and on the new side you get the "Hollywood Squares" Peeping through the door which can be nice when you want to be lazy, cheap, and convenient.

Extra $10 may keep the random bug out at another spot.

All you can do is ask. Obviously if they are full the night before you'll have to wait. But if you are arriving around noon you won't have as much time to kill as you might think.

Depending on what time you land it could be after 1 p.m. before you clear customs and arrive at the hotel. Kill an hour over lunch and it's 2 p.m. Some guys kill time by shopping for snacks and beverages for the room, grabbing some ED drugs at the pharmacia, converting cash into pesos, sipping a beer at Bourbon Street, checking out the beach, etc.

The time will go by faster than you might imagine.
Women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place. Sosua will do just fine.

Nice, thanks for the reply. I'm just curious if anyone trusts them with their bags at the desk before their room is ready, I'll have a small suitcase and I'm not trying to wheel that bitch around lol
