Did anyone attend the pool party they had there on April 17?

Wondering if it was well attended and a good time

I see they are at least updating their facebook page now and had a couple pics posted.

Looked a little sparce but one or two pics not always an indicator

I actually stayed there for the Semana Santa Weekend. The pool party was cool. it was more of a rich Dominican thing. EDM DJ's. Not my type of thing but there were lots of people. Not the traditional pool parties we are use to in Sosua. No whores. Only regular chicas.. Well, no known whores at least. Tons of single girls.

I actually know Brionne pretty well and I told him I was going to give his place a try. Ahnvee is the real deal people. This is a view from someone that actually stayed there. The rooms are first class. You won't find rooms like that anywhere in this country except for the top top resorts in Punta Cana. Nothing in Sosua is even close. I stayed in the pool suite. No chlorine smell, YMMV. I didn't notice. Girls walked into my room and acted like they had just entered a million dollar mansion. The initial looks on their faces was priceless.

It was Semana Santa so it was a completely different experience. The place was 95% families on the weekend. Sold out, not 1 room. Tons of single, regular girls. Ended up fucking 2 girls, 1 was there with her family, the other came with 3 girlfriends. They also had a pool room. Smoked hookah with the every night in their room. Every night it turned into a indoor pool party.

Food is top notch. Steakhouse, Asian restaurant, Bourbon Street, 24hr spot. What else can I say.

Bottom line is this. The pool room I stayed in was $220 per night. All you can eat and drink for 2 people. Hella Nice property. Feels like you are on vacation. On the weekend it was all families. During the week it was 75% couples from the US and Europe. This is not a Smash and grab monger spot fellas. People complain about price are not really running the numbers. Its a great fucking deal to be able to have all of your food and drink included. Im not hating on guys that think its too expensive. Ahnvee is something new. There are a bunch of dudes that only know the places right near the strip. Ahnvee is another level. This is my view from my experience. You should at least take a tour of the place on your next visit to Sosua.

"This is not a smash and grab spot"......that's the reason I go to Sosua and this is a monger board. Sure, some fellas might check it out, but most people on here aren't going to Sosua for vacation. I'm sure it's beautiful and very nice....but as far as mongers go, prolly not too appealing. Me personally, I don't drink a lot, so for me its a no-go.

Well! I haven't even been there yet and listening to WillietheWISE the pool room and an upgrade maybe the way to go.  I do need to smell the room first. I did finally get the perspective from someone who stayed there.  I don't expect there would be many none mongerers in may, semana santa is huge in the DR.  It's does sound as though my previous research is on the one,  but who knows williethe Wise may be a plant.  Just kidding Willie.

Ahnvee is good money. If you like nice places then its for you. I don't know what else to say. I don't want to come across as trying to sell the place. Ask anybody thats been there. Its legit.

I was sold before you went Willie.  One question,  I am considering the pool suite now that you mentioned  you stayed in one and wasn't overwhelmed by the chlorine.  I spoke to the front desk today to confirm my reservation and told them I was considering an upgrade.  I was told that the in room pool wasn't heated and due to the air conditioning the water is pretty cold.  What are your thoughts  on the cold water in the pool. Also mosquitos I can't stand mosquitos Ann I going to be buredened by those pesk.

In my room my pool was about 75 degrees. I blast my AC non stop so it was cooler than the water in the pool outside but is was not cold. In the girls room they never turned on their AC matter of fact they pretty much kept all the windows open all the time. Their water was much warmer than mine. Also contributing to their water being warmer could have been the fact that they always had at least 4-6 people in the pool. I guess they got complaints about the water in the pool being cold because Kenny told me that they were putting some type of team control system in. I didn't have any problems with mosquitos.

Here we go, I see I've gotten on loving hoes bad side, but maybe not I did infere that out brethren were cheap.

I have stayed at every chica friendly hotel in Sosua!! The Victoria house was the only one that had a bit more the Red Roof standards.  My favorite is room 9 in new garden it's a bit bigger and comes with that huge balcony it's 100 per day.  I have never done a villa but partied in guite a few.  I can't stand mosquitos and I have been bitten in every one of them rooms.  Give me luxury, no mosquitos, 24hr food and booze,  golf cart transportation to and from the strip.  Now add that I can share all of this multiple times with the chica of my choice with some limitations of course.  I think 180 a day is a steal, but I am, not the most intelligent guy in the board.

I will be doing at least 3 or 4 days there in May and as I said before I'll report back any pluses or minuses to my stay.  I also won't  be doing that swimming pool room smelling chlorine all night would be a turn off.

Unlimited chica swapping and your one guest can eat at each meal plus they can all drink for free. Done right and you pay nothing more for your trip other than the Chicas fuck fee
Too many woman, not enough days

Thanks Willie looks like the upgrade is in order, pool room
should be a blast.  For only another 40 bucks a day this is a deal when considering.  I paid 270 per day at Breathless in punta cana in January.  That's 30 bucks more for less,  and not chica friendly. I would bet there would be a price increase but location location it's still Sosua.  Casa Maria reef, I stayed the a couple of years ago at  135 and I don't see them increasing ever, it's a dump.  That's going to hold the price down.  I'll give my report anyway, but I think Willie has done a great job.

If booking Anvhee look on Orbitz or Travelocity can use a coupon and get % off of those prices. Pool room is going for $186 a night 15% coupon  (TRAVELBUG) basically takes care of taxes.

Nah...you not on my bad side. I just think it was crazy for someone to drop 5 or 6 million USD on an all-inclusive resort in the back corner of a hooker-town where visitors are trying to squeeze and save 500 pesos from whores....that's all. Good luck is all I'll say. I'm sure it's nice...and I'm sure in 2-3 years, I'll be driving by in my golf-cart wondering what the fuck those idiots were thinking.....lol

I was in Sosua during Semana Santa and took a tour of the Ahnvee. It was pretty full of visitors and looked like a real all inclusive resort atmosphere. The only thing missing was the beach...lol. i was impressed by the set up and just started looking into reserving my next stay. Trivago has the Executive Suite & the Jacuzzi Suites going for the same rate. Trivago has the rates currently at $143.00 a night for either one. So a 5 night stay (Tuesday to Sunday) will cost you less than $900.00 with taxes...not too bad for all you get

Sosua is changing.

This place did not have 4-5 mill dropped but I was a pretty penny. It will be the premier place in Sosua and if they keep it priced at 220 per night for  oh inclusive double occupancy they will atay filled. I glad they figured out the Chlorine problem lol
