We're still waiting for on-the-ground reports about Ahnvee. I maintain that it will not be fully chica friendly, but others here disagree. If you are considering staying there it is best to call them and ask.

@nick, is it really that far... Damn!!!  I wouldn't think DOW would advertise something that's a hike to get to and from, under 15 minutes is not far in my book.

It is far in my opinion, not in walking distance.  Especially at night

I think that alone would rule it out for a typical monger spot. Nice for wifing up with a chica from a dating site, but for typical mongering who wants to be that far from the action?

Wondering if it was well attended and a good time

I see they are at least updating their facebook page now and had a couple pics posted.

Looked a little sparce but one or two pics not always an indicator

I am staying there part of my May trip.  They have two golf carts to shuttle you down to bourbon street and back if you want.  I hear and I am not positive that you are allowed multiple guest just one at a time for each meal time.   My first favorite hotel years ago was Europa and my boy stayed in club residencial both of those are on that end,  not super close to the action, but not in Cabarete either.  The distance is of no consequence to me I get a rental car anyway and the whole Sosua is within walking distance.  Rental car plus golf cart shuttle I think I'll be in luxury heaven.  I am still surprised that by now none of us had actually stayed there.  I guess that 180 price tag indicates the TMBTS crew are a cheap bunch.  We do villas, 5 guys 100 bucks a piece 500 a night luxury heaven and nobbady really is hit hard.   Get it close to 200 a night I understand that joint is too far from the action.  Well I'll see and report back to you guys from an inside perspective and not give you the this is what I heard.

.....Or maybe it's saying the TMBTS crew isn't dumb enough to pay that much money when it's not necessary. Just sayin'.

Here we go, I see I've gotten on loving hoes bad side, but maybe not I did infere that out brethren were cheap.

I have stayed at every chica friendly hotel in Sosua!! The Victoria house was the only one that had a bit more the Red Roof standards.  My favorite is room 9 in new garden it's a bit bigger and comes with that huge balcony it's 100 per day.  I have never done a villa but partied in guite a few.  I can't stand mosquitos and I have been bitten in every one of them rooms.  Give me luxury, no mosquitos, 24hr food and booze,  golf cart transportation to and from the strip.  Now add that I can share all of this multiple times with the chica of my choice with some limitations of course.  I think 180 a day is a steal, but I am, not the most intelligent guy in the board.

I will be doing at least 3 or 4 days there in May and as I said before I'll report back any pluses or minuses to my stay.  I also won't  be doing that swimming pool room smelling chlorine all night would be a turn off.

I was there in january and drove past it and it is much further up the strip than europa. It is all the way at the end where you have to make the left but from the way it looks the place looks good but the location sucks because its isolated and basically in the middle of woods. There a wall up but it is literally if your in the resort looking out all you see is woods.Looking at that turned me off and i will never stay there.
