Heading down on June 21, quick question, is using the ATM at a bank the best way to go?

You can go IN to the bank with your passport and withdraw pesos or dollars

If using ATM remember two things
- Check the card holder (There have been scanners)
- When it spits your card back out dont forget and walk away. It will suck your card back in and you will have to go through the process of getting it back from bank

Dont give a fuck what the next man does, but i always withdraw from the bank at the crib, what i normally would spend plus $300..  Recent trip i was lazy and also i didnt like the exchange rate, so i went to the ATM...  sho nuf the shit didnt work at several machines, didnt want to place a call to the bank so i said forget about it..  dunno what the problem was but i had done it before, with no problem..  my cousin has had fraud alerts every trip and has had to call up CS to get it straight before a withdrawal.

Take it from a person who fucked up, the last time I went. TAKE CASH, just secure it. Why chance it? I talked to reps for my debit card and she said she would note it with my account about my trip out of the country, but the system will automatically flag it because I am out of the country. Fuck that, won't happen to me this time!! Strictly Cash!!

I don't like the ATM machine Sosua. These machine don't hold your card when use, it swallows it and spit it out when your finished. I'm always fearful that these machines will swallow my card and not spit it out. I always carry the necessary amount of cash for the entire trip with some extra for emergencies.
