Book or bail on my trip next week?
« on: November 07, 2019, 11:42:56 PM »
Wassup fam

Sad to see that shit got real on the strip yesterday. I was moments away from booking my flight and pad today when I found out. Scrambling to find another destination and at this point I'm just desperate for some intel. Only other reasonable option for me is costa rica - downsides being rates are much more expensive, not a fan of the day scene there, and there is no beach unless you go to Jaco which I am much less excited about (even more expensive, a lot less to do). I'm leaning towards still booking sosua and hoping the honeys are still out and about.

If you are out in Sosua - what was the scene like tonight? Any one else with words of wisdom (I'm sure this has all happened before...)?

My boy is on the ground in Sosua now. He’s telling me what happened last night was the final straw. Unless you already have a rolodex of chicas you can call, the hunting grounds are closed, until it starts to rebuild itself in a different area (which is gonna take a long time).

I would say to book another destination. Sosua (as it was known) is really dead in the traditional sense. SMH.

I blame wild weekend warriors and stupid Youtubers for drawing so much attention to the Su, that the authorities and politicos started looking at it extra hard, which has now led to its demise.

Sosua is 3 blocks in the DR.  If you have zero game or capabilities then go somewhere else, but sosua temporary out of commision should not prevent you from having a good time in the DR unless you just cannot pull chicks on the fly.

This is so true. Too many guys just want pussy handed to them. The only reason to panic in Sosua is if they declare prostitution illegal and then start locking motherfuckers up and putting their pictures on the internet.

Then it's a wrap!

The DR knows it could kill prostitution in a heartbeat if it wanted. But back to the original question of this topic: If you are concerned about the current climate in Sosua just go -- and post up at Blackbeards Resort if you are really skittish. You will be spoon-fed chicas there. Blackbeards has never been shut down or hassled by the cops or politicians. But again, there is no reason to limit yourself to BB.

The guys who are panicking now are acting as if the chicas are going to disappear. Look, the monger money they make is important to them. They are still going to be available as we go through this transition.

Everybody take a deep breath and calm down. My advice is this:

Change. Adapt. Go. Have fun. Period.

Here is what the smart mongers know. With all the panic and guys bailing, prices for the chicas will go down because of all the hysteria. Right now is one of the best times to go.

Three thousand pesos? Four thousand? Right now you can tell that straight dime to go kick rocks on that. Right now, you can name your price and stick to it! Be smart, my dudes. As long as the activity is still legal, which it is, then the current situation plays to your advantage!

I mean, I laugh out loud when guys complain that everything will move to social media now until the new red light district is fully in place. I mean what, you don't have a cell phone and Whatsapp?

Change and adapt, my brothers. Go now and knock down those dime pieces for 2000 pesos.

My advice:
Go to Medellin.  Its actually more affordable with better chica choices.  All the women being arrested are not being told...hey next time go up the block to the new red light district...they are being told not to return to sosua....period.

I'm sorry but 10 years ago the real sosua was a gold mind.  This current generation of Youtubers.. political thieves.. big money investers di-valueing the town to get it for cheap, ghetto groups causing problems, rachit younger chicas out there, drug users and unprofessional-abusive Police has destroyed what was an awesome town to visit innocent form all of the poisons I meantioned.

Before anyone attacks my comment.... years ago there really was many many real hot chicks with undamaged encounters freely all over town.

I just left the Su on wednsday and I'm glad I was at classicos on the last full night open.

My dude: Based on your comments I'd guess you and I are at least relatively about the same age. I have much respect for your comments. However, as we grow older, we can't live in the past. Ten years ago? TEN? My brother, things never stay the same. No disrespect, but you're holding onto the old days while time marches on.

Like I said, nothing remains the same. Change and adapt. As an older monger who has mongered in multiple countries, I'm completely comfortable with the current change in Sosua. I don't need the nightclubs to pull. As long as it's legal, I'm good.

Let me throw this out there. A semi-pro introduced me to her friend, a non/semi? pro and she and I had a frank conversation about meeting.  She told me that she would open to protected sex and unprotected once she got to know me better and we became friends. This with the understanding that I would be open to helping her out when she needed help? "How often is that??" Anyway this tells me, if you start a conversation [google or not] it puts your foot in the door to smashing and smashing very quickly. So brothers, don't worry...just get out there and chat it up with whoever you meet/fancy. It's all legal and you'll be fine.
...I'm usually wrong...but that sh!t was great!

Thanks for the respond Fuentes... No offense taken.. But I'm not living in the past just mentioned how it was.  Going to Colombia next month to move on to the future not the past as you stated.   make Sosua great again....

I think people here are misconstruing the alarm about Sosua. It’s not a “panic,” it’s just an enormous disappointment and a hard blow to the gut.

Sosua was a whole VIBE. It was the Disneyland of mongering destinations, and they just shut the park down, so to speak. Yeah, you can still go and hang out and do things AROUND the park, but it’s not the same as having access to all of the attractions IN the park (the energy, the bars, the clubs, the many chicas out in plain view, etc).

So for all you folks talking this and that about how the shutdown shouldn’t stop you from pulling chicas, you’re right, but you’re missing the point. The classic Sosua “experience” is dead. The fellowship of the monger; meeting other mongers to shoot the shit over beers and laughs while they hunt, is dead. The official gathering spot for chicas has been broken up. This is the pain of the death of Sosua. Do you get it now?
