Sosua beats MDE if you are looking for a location to have a blast for you and several of your boyz.  MDE doesn't have that fraternity atmosphere.
However, it you are the type that likes to explorer, then hands down MDE is your spot and the women are bad. The same chicas you are fucking in MDE for $40,
would cost you almost a hundred if they were working in Sosua.  Imagine going to Pica Flor (RIP) and picking any of those chicas and fucking for $45, that's
the average look of the casa girls in MDE.

I'm more of the lone ranger type so this fits me perfect. I consider myself to be an explorer as well as I plan to go to Tokyo, Thailand and other places within the next year and a half. Booked the Binn Hotel in Medellin and i'll cop my plane ticket sometime next week. Appreciate the game @blklouky and @jamellemaj

Nice report that hits on all the basics of Medellin.

As far as safety, you are generally safe without much worry in the tourist areas of Poblado... once you leave there, it’s fair game as you are in a major city, and if you don’t move smart, YOU WILL GET GOT.. no question.

As far as Benzo, he made obvious mistakes that cost him which could have been avoided... and that happens to tourist and locals alike in a medellin..

They have a phrase in Colombia of Dar Papaya... that applies to all...

“This phrase is extremely common in Colombia. I am not sure how this phrase first began, and it has always seemed a bit strange to me. Literally, “dar papaya” means “to give papaya.” However, when you hear someone say, “no des papaya,” they are not telling you to “not give someone papaya.” They are actually telling you to be careful—to not set yourself up or make yourself an easy target. Most often, you will hear this when people want to warn you about theft. For instance, leaving money out on your desk at work while you go to the W.C. would be “dando papaya.” Or, if you are going to the downtown areas of Barranquilla, using your brand new iPhone while in the street markets would be “dando papaya.” In both cases, you are setting yourself up for something to be taken from you—you are making yourself an obvious target.”

Medellin can be dangerous, once I got off at the wrong Metro stop(looking for a casa),  as I was walking I saw some very shady individuals. Let me just say I turned around and got back on the next train going back to my hotel lol  I definitely wouldn't advise on to centro after dark.

I went to Centro once with a local around 8pm after dark... Literally the craziest shit I ever seen... It's like the wild wild west.... Druggies, thieves, homeless, and ruthless shit without any police to be seen...saw this old lady jus bleeding to death and everyone walkin as normal.

correct.

Rules of Colombia

  • Know some Spanish
  • Don't wear any nice jewelry
  • where pants and try to bend in
  • get  a cheap and basic Smart phone, do not walk around with your new IPhone or Samsung.
  • respect the culture and their women
  • basically try not to stand out too much

if you can do this you will be rewarded with IG type chicas that you can fuck dirt cheap.
These are photos of a selection of chicas a private casa i visited on my last trip. address is Calle 32f 65c Belen. If anyone is going to MDE and need their number just PM me.

I'm good bro. How you and the fam? Hope all is well. I'll definitely do July with you guys. By July I'll probably make 3 more trips since I try to travel every other month. I'll try to post info on here and maybe dudes on here will get back to what this site is supposed to be about----giving advice.  I have to look thru my emails because I remember yippy sent me some pictures from either Colombia or Costa Rica. Think you went for your birthday. I'll send you some joints so you can see the talent if yippy haven't been there yet.

Fam,
I have 15 strong with the possibility of more who all said HELL YEAH to Medellin in July... As far as Costa Rica ( going in March)  I’ve ran through a lot of the Colombian girls out there.
Hit me when you back in the good old USA.

What you mean don't try to stand out too much?? They are going to know you're American and that is stand out in itself!!! I know people that live in Medellin and your comparison is way off..... I'm not saying you can get robbed, but the same rules apply as if you're going to DR!

A lot of this stuff is true. I just came back from Mde few weeks ago. I have been 4-5 times.

In mde you have to blend In. I have been to El Centro numerous times by myself but always Before dark. ALSO with absolute nothing flashy including basic watch.

Spanish HAS to be spoken. I would say maybe 1-2 people out of 100 speak English.

If you stay around llelras and provinza you should be good for most part. The local women in that area are very hard to game. A lot of them are wealthy and gringos are seen as mongers coming down for cheap sex. There is a campaign against mongering in mde- you will see stickers posted throughout the city “ Say No to sex tourism”.

Jamellemaj, thank you for that post. That was very helpful. I am seriously looking into Colombia and you clarified a few things for me. I don’t know Spanish so I may start of with the Mansion to get my feet wet until my Spanish improve.

@Traveling yes we are gringos, but wearing certain items and flashing certain items will make you stand out more. You are right outside Sosua you have to have the same approach. But some dudes have not really been out of Sosua, and if they do try MDE they need to know these things. Walking around MDE acting loud, with gold chains and rings on makes you an easy target. I am only comparing MDE to Sosua, but can you really compare Sosua's blocks versus a city the size of DC.
