drinking the water
« on: March 12, 2018, 07:00:31 PM »
I couldn't find this thread, (although I'm sure it's here somewhere).  I'm staying at Casa Marina Beach.  Ok to drink the water there?  What about elsewhere?
Thanks.

Nowhere in the country manito. Not worth it. This is from experience. I’ve never drank the water but fucked around thinking I was a native and brushed my teeth at a high end hotel (No brand name  shall be given.) and was fucked up for a week off of it. So I can only imagine what it feels like to drink it. Bottled water or nothing brother.

I never drink, brush my teeth or let any of the water get into my mouth when I shower. The strange thing is that I had a girl cook for me and I know she had to use the water to make rice and I didn’t

Boiling water kills the bacteria. The water is good if you want to lose weight because it will make everything you eat come out liquid.

I steer clear of the water. Bottled only. No mixed drinks either. They all say the water is purified but I am not taking my chances. Got sick once from the water a long time ago and learned my lesson.

Quick story about water.....About 4 years ago, I went to the beach and there was some dude making margaritas at a little home-made booth near some steps for 100 pesos. I tried one and it was ok. I sat with Big D and drank around SEVEN of these drinks. Long story short, I stumbled back to Sosua Suites and passed out for a few hours. When I woke-up, I was sick for 4-5 days. The ice dude was using made me sick as hell. Big D even had a Dominican dude go ask the guy if the ice was good and he told him....yes. Just make sure you don't drink mixed drinks in them little bars around the strip. I always drink a beer or other drink without ice at those places....trust NOBODY. These places just want to sell them drinks and don't care about your vacation or if you get sick. I avoid ice or water no matter where I go unless it's bottled. The big bars and restaurants should be good to go. Another thing....watch your salads. When they clean the lettuce, some of these places don't use good water. Be careful or your vacation could get fucked up in a hurry.

Big Ol’ FACTS! When I was a few years younger not giving a fuck, I would easily come back home about 7-9 pounds lighter. Between fucking, sweating and shitting it was like a detox and I was the king of that mix drink shit and also learned the hard way when I would lose my voice every trip. The only ice I use comes from Super Pola or I pour bottled water in an ice tray and make my own. Also the pizza down there gives me the liquid ass and also stay away from sushi (Long story, just trust me on this 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️) Ahhhh a few more wake ups and I’ll be back “home”.

I don’t know where you stay but I mainly be in Casa Linda. I make sure I let them broads know to use that free bottle of water they give you when you check in to cook.

They don't use sink water, they have those crystal 5 gallons waters they get for about 80 pesos from supermarkets and bodegas to cook with... been to multiple chicas houses across the island many times and all use this

As far as brushing or water gets In mouth, "knock on wood" I did brush in my first few visits without a problema using the sink water, it depends on ur immune system and ur tolerance for foreign antigens in ur body 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am fucking with a local chica who washes the inside of her toto only with bottled water using "Vaginal Douching" bottle because she catches infectious bacteria when using sink water, in other words it isn't safe even for natives

Moral of the story ........ be safe and only drink, brush your teeth and use ice from bottled water. I only drink drinks (including shots and henny) sin lello / no ice. Why take chances when nothing messes up a trip more than having the runs ....... You force yourself to go to the club even though you know your stomach ain't right, you think you gonna pass gas and BAM !

better to never drink tap water on vacation. Risking to ruin a full trip just to save a few dollars on bottled water ?

Buy bagged ice and bottled water from the grocery store for your villa or hotel room. I do that every trip and have never had a problem.
Women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place. Sosua will do just fine.
