Finally Boots on ground
« on: December 02, 2018, 02:39:12 AM »
whats up guys after a failed plan in sept of 2017 my friend and I are arriving in Santiago on Dec 6th. We are staying at a villa in puerto Plata. Its 26km from Classicos which is about a 30 minute drive. We are closer to costa dorado then sosua beach. It will be our first time here. We want to do activities like atv jet ski etc. How much should that cost us approx? Should we take ubers everywhere? how much does basic stuff cost like a lunch or dinner meal? a beer? I know the going rates for putas so got that covered. Any recommendations? Places to check out or eat? My villa got a private jacuzzi pool grill and sound system with the lasers and smoke stuff. Anyone wanna link send me a pm. Any advice for me let me know. Thanks guys can't wait!

also since I live so far away should I go with a chica to some rental for cheap to try her out and then offer her to come back? I don't wanna spend 30 mins there and 30 back to be disappointed by a lazy puta

- Is there a reason y'all are staying to far away?  Depending on what you're trying to do, that's gonna be inconvenient as hell.

- The cheapest option for traveling from Puerto Plata to Sosua (and back) is the "public car", which only costs a couple of dollars.  I've never taken an uber there.

- Since y'all are staying so far away, the best bet would be to collect as many whatsapp numbers as possible, then just call them up and have them come to you at your convenience. Really no need in renting another spot, or wasting 30 mins there/back like you mentioned above.

- Meals are more expensive on the Sosua strip and the "touristy" spots than out on the economy.  Expect to pay anywhere from a couple hundred pesos to a thousand(ish) pesos depending on the dish.  A tall beer will cost roughly 150 pesos at a lot of places....(or do i have that mixed up with the regular sized beer?)

We are staying at the Villa Suites Torre Alta. I booked the garden condos and then cancelled because my friend said he was joining me. On air b n b when I booked this villa didn't realize how far away it is. Its really dope especially for the price. Gonna have to make the best of it. I already lost 100$ cancelling the garden condos which is on the strip. My boy said he wants the privacy and what trip is complete without having your own jacuzzi. We def wanna smash many putas but yeah logistics wise its sucks. And this guy I'm booking with he has a no cancel policy. So I would lose out again. Cant cancel gotta make the best of it thats why I'm asking you bros for advice.

No prob....it is what it is.  Just know that there are much closer villas.  I've never stayed at one because i always roll solo.  "Casa Linda" seems to be the most popular.  Next time, just search for the proximity from Sosua beach.

Your deep in Puerto plata.  I would consider a rent a car, but then again if you driving late night after the clubs as a first timer.  No way. You sound somewhat price conscious.  What I would focus on is transportation costs as you will be going back and forth to sosua everyday. Tour about 10 minutes from malecon, and 5 minutes from kaviar, but if you speak no Spanish that will be a problem in that area.

I stay in a apartment the neighborhood next to Torre Alta. You’re going to love the views out there bro. I don’t know how often you plan on going back and forth to Sosua day but your best bet would probably be Uber. It’s $10 each way from the apartment to Sosua. As far as food near by, there’s a good nice takeout type spot named Lookout about 5 minutes down the street, and they will deliver to your villa. Got a few girls out there who will be able to get anything your looking for in Puerto Plata as well. And they have friends. Would be good for when you don’t feel like making that trip to sosua. Rent a car at your own peril.. Use the Publico to go from POP to Sosua. Get a smash room at NG or Europa if you want to check out Sosua. I'd be changing plans and checking out BB's if I were you. There are also putas available in POP. Once you see how people drive in the DR you will understand about the rental car. Publico's run all night.
