« on: January 18, 2019, 01:30:31 PM »
Is this a good idea and where would this happen? Are there limits? Traveling as a group of 3 so what can be done here? Or should we wait till get to Su and make purchases there?

thanks,

We always get 2-3 bottles each coming in of Jameson and Tito's. Then buy the local brews for the company

Where do you pick these up from, when you are leaving the states or when you touch down in DR? I've never done this before so I dont know where. Also I was thinking of picking up some Henny, Baileys, Jameson, Vodka and Johnnie

It's funny you said that...I managed to get a chica drunk off presidente black. The rest kept drinking that "light" crap that won't even give you a buzz.

How is the selection at duty free?  If I have a favorite bourbon or vokda that isn't one of the top 5 brands am I likely to find it?

thanks,

I always skip the duty free. For me, prices at the grocery store in Sosua are cheaper. Stand-alone liquor stores near the hotels are more expensive. If I was in a villa and wanted my Hennessey XO I would pack it in my checked luggage. All the other stuff is readily available at the grocery store.
Women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place. Sosua will do just fine.

Best to buy at the duty free before you leave the states, specifically if you have a particular taste.
