We always get 2-3 bottles each coming in of Jameson and Tito's. Then buy the local brews for the company

Where do you pick these up from, when you are leaving the states or when you touch down in DR? I've never done this before so I dont know where. Also I was thinking of picking up some Henny, Baileys, Jameson, Vodka and Johnnie

Don't know about Henny but I am pretty sure you can get the Bailey's, Jameson, vodka and Johnnie at the playero superstore on route 5 for cheaper than at the Super Super surf or duty free ... duty free is a tourist trap, everything is more expensive there.
Can someone confirm that there is Henny at the Playero? I shop there everytime but never noticed if there is Henny there since cognac is not my thing.

Oh man, please. You got off easy. Go down to Blackbeards and get a 'lil tipsy. Chica will go to dinner with you at BB's restaurant and order steak and lobster. Two of them. One to eat with you and one to take home. LOL.

I' m at Black Beards, I order stewed chicken (which is delicious) and she ordered the most expensive steak on the menu. I gave the WTF look and she was like what's wrong papi?  I said if you order a thousand peso steak and a drink we are going back to the room (no pesos). We both enjoyed our stewed chicken and Presidentes.

Which bourbon...recovered whisky snob here.

How is the selection at duty free?  If I have a favorite bourbon or vokda that isn't one of the top 5 brands am I likely to find it?

I get one bottle duty-free at JFK. The chicas I have been with like Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, Bailey's. But really these girls grew up on rum and it is cheap. Problem is they want to send pics of the imported stuff to post for their friends.

Buy at duty free in states if you want the top shelf stuff. If you are not picky there is a big liquor store on the main drag and lots of smaller store all over I hit one a couple blocks from uropa prices there are reasonable.

Decent rum, not so decent vodka, $10 a bottle everywhere.
