is Sosua finished?
« on: June 11, 2018, 12:04:16 PM »
have heard from a number of trusted guys that from next year there will be red light district at the other end of Sos so that everything is contained in 1 area, also hearing couple places are shutting down already..
These stories happen every single year, same story over and over but 2019 is when the Sos is game over.

You just said these stories happen EVERY SINGLE year, so you answered your own question... Still to date not ONE person has confirmed this meeting (Well NOT ONE BUSINESS OWNER WAS ACTUALLY THERE - Someone told them)

Now just to give you a dynamic, I had three NFL players staying by playa chaquita... There are Million dollar villas/mansions back there. Aint no red light district moving down there and NOT one business has closed.

The ones who HAVE closed do so SEASONAL.. I know three that cant survive without the Canadian crowd so they close.

Why would it be over.

Sousa already has a red light district.  It that little block we all know as Pedro Clisante.

Nothing much will change other than the area of interest could be moving to another part of town.

No big deal really people and chicas will adapt.

But remember that nothing in the DR ever happens as scheduled.  EVER!

Now for those that believe that the only thing that exists in Sosua is Classicos than your dreams and hopes of a bright future may not be so bright.

Classicos is doomed to die anyway but if the owner of Classicos feels like a new location is worth it to him he will merely move to a new place. But the guy is getting old and may not want to deal with the powers that be much longer.

Things change all the time there and will continue to do so.  Chicas will always need money and there are no realistic hopes for earning a decent living in the DR anytime in the near future so selling ass is not going anywhere.

Perhaps it won't be as in your face as it is now.

For the dudes that can barely function there now it will best for them to stay home in the future but for most not much will change.

Sosua will never be finished. At the end of the day, Its a 3rd World Country, There is alot of broke poor people especially the Chicas. So as long as there are broke bitches, They will always have mongers willing and ready to spend.

Now i know alot of guys only go to Sosua, and they think everything Classicos. Its not. Venture out. Shit learn spanish. You will find some real gems, Most of the chicks in Sosua strip are harden Pros anyways.

@Playa Jefe... LMAOOOOO

I will tell you what a very good Dominican friend from a very prominant family said to me. He no longer cares for DR and only does colombia but he made a GOOD Point...

REAL politicians (People in CHARGE) Dont NEED a meeting, permission or rhyme or reason to shut shit down.. If it benefited their pockets the strip would be closed tomorrow and mofos would have 50 lawyers in court and the powers that be would just laugh..

But ONLY Mongers worry about this town. To locals this is
"A dirty Beach Town that no one cares about"  (And I heard those same exact words 8 years ago in Santo Domingo)   If they wanted to make changes?? There wouldnt be a post on this board warning you. It would be exactly like when Sosua Bay / Victoria House closed.

Note was slid under door saying to Vacate in an hour and the staff left.. Mofos was screwed.. No warning..

I am with VP on this.  I thought about it.  Telling dudes who have no desire or care to learn spainish, out of shape and cannot do well in a real club setting is not realistic to ask them to venture outside of sosua.  Just think about the places outside of sosua and think of the men you see in sosua it's not realistic to expect them to do well outside.  It always is said if you cannot pull a hot chick where you from and some will lie and say they can.  That is on you, but to pull a hot chick outside of sosua with no language ability is pushing it.  Let's get real and be honest.  Waist of a vacation day for most dudes.

When dealing with women its really all about your confidence. Women have damn near a 6 sense when it comes to that shit. People will treat you on how you feel about yourself.

Like i said they can shut the down the strip tommorrow. Nothing will really change as again DR is a 3rd World Country. Pussy will always sell.

Also i think anybody can do well outside Sosua, You just have to stop being lazy and put in the work. If you need to lose weight to feel better about yourself. Go to The GYM!.

Dominican Chicks in DR are easy to pull, Just have confidence. Dress Nice. and they are not stuck up like american chicks, Most are very humble. Again learning spanish helps but like my father always tells me

People that work hard always have a edge. So if you stop being lazy and learn spanish. You can get the cream of the crop, Instead of dealing with harding pro chicks that every weekend millionare ran through every week.

Sosua is not finished. Never will be until the powers that be decide that it’s over. I agree with VP. No warnings, no meetings, no new laws, etc. One day they’ll just show up and say it’s over. Until that day comes, I’ll still be on my AA flight landing in puerto plata and making that left turn and checking into my superior room at Casa Valeria.

I agree with what your saying, but you have to do it which is where I agree with VP not realistic.  They are not going to do it which is fine by me.  Sosua to me is fine as it matches the men that go there. Before you had crazy talent that changed and matches the people that go now which is is fine for most people that go there.

Again, I keep saying you do not have to leave sosua if you have the right skills.  Just go to the beach when the buses are in from Santiago and La Vega on Sunday.  Pretty girls that do not speak English who are not in the game. Happens every Sunday groups of dudes just sitting together just looking.  That is not going to change.

Sosua is Good for what it is, And Understand ALOT of guys CANT and Wont venture out because its not their comfort zone and some wil just go.

I just brought a few dudes (First trip) Just to PTO PTA to see something different. They loved it. Just a different vibe. But I have also taken dudes to local spots and they hated it. They ONLY want the draw that the OLD RUMBA/Classico brings and there is nothing wrong with that.

Only reason I'd dare not venture outside Sosua is my lack of Spanish. What's the point of traveling 1000 miles to be confined to a 10 mile radius?

I think the problem for a lot of guys is that they view Sosua as a party town. Yes, it can be a party town, but really only if you want to party to Dominican culture. The gulf between AA culture and Dominican from a party prospective is just too wide. What ends up happening is you have guys partying with themselves. Yes, they have women with them, but for the most part those girls are pretending to enjoy what’s going down and not showing their real personalities. Sosua is really a place for enjoying pretty Dominican women. Though of course fucking is part of the experience simply enjoying their company as Dominicanas is also an awful big part of the experience. Absent the latter your time there rapidly devolves into something akin to mastrabation and damn right that gets boring fast. As to whether or not you need to leave Sosua, if you’re not there to find a novia/wife there are enough women (cheap carrito distance) between Gasper and POP and those visiting Sosua to hoe to last most fellows a lifetime.
