My First Trip/ Chica Proofing
« on: April 14, 2018, 09:13:00 PM »
What’s good everyone. I just booked my first trip to Sosúa for May 31st & finding this board was the most clutch shit ever. I’ve been doing research and this forum does the best job at getting you hype & getting you informed at the same time. I thank y’all for that.

I’m staying at New Garden, should I book it through the website or actually call them up? I’m going solo so I figured that’s the best spot to be close to everything I need to be around. One question I wanted to know is if somebody can tell me about Chica-Proofing the room, I searched the board for it but I never found an actual guide to what exactly to do, unless it’s just straight up put your money in the safe & that’s it. Thanks in Advance.

Is just means don’t leave anything valuable lying around. Lock up cash and credit cards in safe before she gets in the room. Keep anything smell enough to be swiped in Your luggage and locked

I think I will be staying at Las Palmeras, just 2 mins walk to the min strip, when I go in Jun 14.
Has any one stayed there before? Is it chika friendly?

Oh iight bet, I seen one of the small safes on amazon I’m gonna cop to put my stuff in, & I read new garden has pretty good safes too. I won’t need it to hold that much stuff anyway.

Good idea .. I've got mixed feeling about the safety of New Garden it’s usually good. But sometimes you’ll have someone claim money went missing. Any extra precautions will serve you well..

Oh word? I’ll keep my head on a swivel like I do out here, but question, if not New Garden, what’s a better hotel to stay at because I’m dolo & I’m not renting a car, so I wanna be able to walk to the strip & get back to the room without it feeling like I’m trooping it. The prices don’t really matter to me at this point, if you have a doper spot, put me on.

Damn I just looked up Sosúa inn, I like it 1000 times better. Good lookin out for that real talk. Is there a specific room or floor I should get? I peeped it says the first floor has “easy access” to pool area, & the second floor has a balcony, is the third floor just the ocean view or does it have a balcony & everything too.
