Casa Linda Villa When You're Solo? Who's Tried It?
« on: December 06, 2018, 09:07:03 AM »
I roll solo, but thinking of trying a two-bedroom villa at Casa Linda. Has anybody tried this? Pros and cons?

I think biggest downside for me is that I'm mostly a short-time sport fucker. I'd probably need to keep a cheap smash room in the city except for two or three chicas who'll stay with me in the villa overnight.

Appreciate all thoughts.

Thanks Gsxr,

I have a driver in Sosua so that wouldn't be an issue. How was your experience managing the chicas? Did you bring them back one at a time or bring back a few?

I often stay up there and always travel solo. I always get a car. For me it’s an extension of living at  home. I make coffee, do some work in the morning, make a lunch, afternoon nap.

Same as at home except for the naked women in the pool.

I stayed in casa linda for 3 weeks straight

2 bedroom villa with a pool...to myself...

Villa 640 to be exact

I'll tell you now after 9-10 pm they have a zero tolerance for any kind of noise and the security was creepy...the windows in the kitchen and living room have no shades caught security staring at my TV and me a few times and when you bring a chica in they will stand there and stare until ya'll go inside...shit was creepy to me

But overall very quiet

Thanks NYG,

I don't mind the tight security so much. They gotta keep the complex on lockdown to keep it from becoming a frat house. I'm cool if I can keep my three chicas each night with minimal interference.

@FF, Clarify the guest policy, I have been told no more than 4 people overnight in a 2 bed. ( that would work for you) . But also heard on this board that there is an issue with having 2 unregistered overnight guests.

When you book, ( check with the desk, not the Airbnb host) ask something like, I have invited my girlfriend to stay over and she wants to bring two friends, is that cool?

@NY, were any costs passed on to you? I know about power if you run it a lot, but curious if they charge you extra for housekeeping?

@Viva,

Thanks for the tip. Now that I think about it, I believe I also have read something on this board about limiting the number of overnight guests. Oh well. I suppose I could make do with having my three over until midnight or 1 a.m. -- although all night would be mucho better.

@Viva

I worked out electricity upfront on airbnb from the guy who owns multiple properties in casa linda

Side bar

Door to my bedroom for the outside where pool was was broken didn't realize till like second week meaning anyone from outside cold have came in my bedroom YES casa linda has constant walking guards with guns 24/7 but when I told the owner shit didn't get fixed..

My Point...thoroughly examine that villa for safety and issues because you don't want it falling on you and yes you definitely want to feel safe

Get electricity worked out before arrival

(also ask about laundry very important some include it done don't also house cleaning my villa was one free cleaning a week)

That door has been broken for probably a year and a half. I locked my keys  and phone inside and asked the guy walking around to call the desk to send someone with a card. He just walked around the back and opened the door.

That owner should dial it up a little. Blinds in the windows would cost about what you paid for one night.

Side bar to the side bar, I had about $100 go missing. Could it have been an old regular? I don’t know. I have not invited her back. Security? I don’t know. But... instead of chica proofing now I just always put stuff away if I am home or out, expecting company or not.

CL is my go to spot. As long as it doesnt turn into frat house it is on point...an extension of home and then some. Is 640 in phase 2 or 3? All good points ..electricity can get you. Security is a plus...they around ..and at night some of them are super stealth...so never worries about problems. Will enaure you make it in safe most nights. Probably so any guests know they are there as well as to catch those extras  trying to jump out the trunk ..;-) . give it a try..just get a few recommendations.
