Change is alway inevitable, Thats not gonna stop anything, yes! it will make inconvenient for some, how to handle that? adjust or find other pastures. sosua is just a small beach town the whole island is up for grabs to be honest. As long as a chica is willing there will always be a market! They have more to lose than we do considering the amount of money we spend there.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer, but yeah, I'm thinking I'm back.

There's already a thread about this. They have 14 months to move all bars and clubs to the new red light district down by Anvhee. I haven't ventured that far down Pedro Clisante, but are there many other hotels down that end? The only inconvenience I think will be for people who will be staying down there and want to go to the beach.

Looks like the party will be moving to Boca Chica, lots and lots of hoes there. And more daily flights with better prices to SDQ.

Let me ask you guys ..... Does it matter if it’s two blocks down the street! Is it really gonna really stop chicas and niggas from doing their thing! No! They can say there’s sexy chicas in the mountains ready to fuck and dudes will bring a radio and money ! With one thing on their mind! Cmon just adjust! Can’t knock it if they want to keep shit low key! Just like any hood in America.... politicians make move to try to make things better or do a quick clean up! But the PJ’s are always the PJ’s not matter how many times you refurbish them!

For those that like to stay at Hispaniola  or Casa Linda and usually rent  vehicles  does it really  matter if they move a few blocks? If we're willing to fly from America to DR you think a change of a few blocks is going to really stop things?

I feel bad for all the businesses that invested money into their properties and business on that end of PC. This is a example how risky it is to invest down there, however if the red light district is going where they say it is, the boys from Ahnvee are about to get paid and any dude that bought into their timeshare option. If I knew this was going down for sure when I was offered, I may have taken the cheese myself.  I bet the value of the property has already gone up on that end.

Actually having a dedicated Red Light district may bring the life back to Sosua as it was several years ago. The cops wouldn't have no reason to
harass chicas anymore, and hopefully they won't have these dumb ass rules like they have now with the bars and clubs. It sucks the beach will
no longer be close to the action though.

It's mighty dark on that end of PC, hopefully they put some lights up.  We shall see if this new cruise line port brings in all the tourism money as they are predicting.

This is looking so much like the wire series where they move all the drugs to one area.  Then when the newspaper gets wind and does an investigation all he'll breaks loose and they shut it down.  Same thing can easily happen if newspaper does a story on this new red light district.   I would never invest in that plan they can easily shut that down.  Much easier to shut down if all it is consider a red light district.  Your crazy to think they will let that last. Stop thinking your dollars matter and they care.  They do not care about you.  Stop thinking they do.  If you never seen the wire you missed greatest series ever and you will not get what I am saying.

Good point @Saint. If there is a red light district, there is no guarantee how long it will last.

Ahnvee doesn't want to be located right in the middle of a red light district. No way. Their main draw is families and they sure as fuck ain't coming now. They can't last on mongers alone. That's not why they built the place. They gonna lose their targeted customers if this happens. Who's gonna bring kids and their family to a red light district?

I think if the Red Light District is on their door step they will be the New New Garden of Sosua.  I am not saying that was their target market. But its all about location. If they are serious about sticking with the family and couple environment, then they will have to change their guest policy.  But if they do that most P4P gringos won't stay there, and just as you stated I don't see many families or couples  booking a resort in the middle of a red light district.

The question I have is why would you build a resort with no beach access or ocean view if that was your target market?  Kids want to play in the sand and ocean, women want see and hear the ocean cracking, and P4P dudes just want a bed to see and hear wet pussy popping.

There Shooting themselves in the Foot,,,Yes a Red light district would be good if they don't have crazy chica rules,  as far as the bars and resteraunts on the strip, not so good, if all the mongers and girls are not there there going to suffer,, Sosua is only good for day time trips for cruise ships,,  Sure some tourist Expats, and some locals will  dine at resteraunts, but it would be dead after 9 pm ..We Shall see!
