that place wont last 5 yrs  and its 7k that's sick fuck that
If you come out here often, it actually works out to be a ok deal as your friends get the same hotel rate as you at $60 per night.  The problem is when I got my membership, I was able to drink with my friends all the premium booze such as Hennessy, Grey Goose, Crown Royal ers.  A year later, my buddies do not have the same vip service. They got to drink the cheap booze.  Also, another shit policy change was that at night, we were able to bring food back to the room to eat.  When I’m drunk, I rather eat in the room.  Now you are not allowed, if you want to, you have to pay full price for the food.  VIP lounge area - it’s a great man cave where you can watch tv and smoke cigars.  Now it’s only for you and you can’t bring in your Bros.  Another policy change.

You know you do realize that it was in your contract that you signed correct. If it physically is stating that in the contract then you have a legal recourse to get your money back and trust me those guys will pay your money back because they’re not trying to have any smoke in the international country. All you have to do is get a lawyer. A well-known Dominican lawyer will get your money back or at least get them to honor the contract because remember they are foreigners in a foreign country. So if you  need just let me know or ask VP and we can get you connected

Thanks Hip Hop for your advise.  Overall, I come to Sousa for 5 weeks a year.  I’m not really want any problems at the resort.  Just to give others advice to find a VIP member to get the good room rates.  The hotel is better than most other hotels in Sosua and the staff and food is good.  I just wish that the manager Angel didn’t lie to get a deal done. That $7000 will be recouped for me within 2 years.  Normal rates at this resort is $200 US and up per night.

I’m not sure about what you believe but in my personal Pinyan you are having problems at the resort right now. Paying $7000 and not getting what you were promised sounds like a big ass problem to me bro

Damn boy, yo silly ass could not even recognize that Hip Hop was laughing at your bama ass with his post!!!

You were suckered in a foreign country and don't get suckered again.  Dominican lawyer??   Fucking hilarious!!!!  You Gonna Learn, today!!!

Take it easy bro I was only joking with him on the first post saying that he bought a timeshare and was surprise he didn’t get what you paid for. But after that as far as explaining to him how to get the situation resolved you got to realize not all Dominican lawyers are crooks bro there are few that are fantastic like the Guzman’s

@Topdawg, thats fucked up how they switched things up on you. I could see the bringing food back to your room would change. They don't want chicas drinking and eating for free that you bring back to the spot.  Glad my spidey senses was active when they were pitching that timeshare shit to me. 7k would take care of my lodging in the DR for 5 trips a year for 3 years.

Matter what anybody tells me the math does not make sense. Because 7000÷5 makes 1400 a year. You divide that by seven that’s $200 a night. You go for two weeks that’s $100 a night. Now if that’s all you were paying OK I could see that. But you’re not. You got to pay $60 per night as well. So how is it that that make sense? I’m just confused. Because the math doesn’t make sense.

Especially since they’re consistently running specials for the penthouse at $199 a night Now considering that they are foreigners in the country and they don’t want any heat or any problems. I am absolutely sure that he could get this problem rectified. And get his contract on it. The fact that he saying he doesn’t want any problems when he goes there makes me know that he was just a nice guy they got suckered

Thank Hip Hop.  At the end of the day, I am out there 5 weeks of the year so i’ll Make my return back over the term of the contract.  If I wasn’t coming out here that often, it would be different.  I should of mentioned when I signed the deal, I was able to negotiate 10 days free stay for my first trip after signing the contract.  That’s like a 2000 deal if you do the at the penthouse special as stated by hip hop.  Staff is great, food is good and I save a lot of money drinking at the Bourbon for free.  It’s too bad that Ahnvee couldn’t hold up to it’s end of the bargain.  Buyer beware if you decide to buy a membership.  Find a VIP member and use there membership discount.  When I bring my bros, I charge them an extra 20 per night.  So I am recouping my money back and the membership will pay itself off and more.  The only problem was the lies at signing the contact.  If they were completely honest at the beginning, I would of still probably bought the membership.  Just do not oversell a product you can’t deliver on

I live in Florida. For $7,000 I can hit the Su twice a month for a year flying out of Ft. Lauderdale and booking budget housing. That said, I won't pile on for the brothers who bought the membership. Guys who can plunk down $7K all at once on a whim obviously aren't hurting for cash. I have a friend who took a timeshare pitch in Las Vegas and paid $36K on the spot with an Amex card. That was just for the timeshare -- no meals or drinks included.

For some people $7K is chump change.

Women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place. Sosua will do just fine.

and on the flip side I know a millionaire who only buys sale items at the supermarket, one who drives a four cylinder Honda, and one who I personally witnessed stuff a $3 bag of bolts in his pocket at Home Depot cause he didnt want to pay for them.  I dont think there is much correlation between how much people have and how they spend.

You never pay what a Dominican asks. I have been going to DR for maybe 4 years before I visited ahnvee. They offered me the membership but I put the fire to them and didn’t let them play me like the dumb nigga they thought I was. Long story short my contract was on my terms and a price that I told them I was willing to pay and they accepted. Not saying I got over on them but it was fair and we are both happy but what ever they offer you first will always always always be a rip off.

I dont think there is much correlation between how much people have and how they spend.

Of course there is a correlation. A guy making $12,500 a year can't afford to spend like he is making six figures. It's simply not possible. His inability to spend at that level is a direct correlation to his earnings. On the other hand, the wealthy person you reference who clips coupons is doing it as a choice -- not as a correlation tied to his earnings or wealth.

It’s always a choice. I could be a millionaire but if something is worth 100$ I’m not gonna pay 200$ just because I have it. They tried to play me like that at ahnvee. Like “ if you don’t have the money I understand “ FOH They think the only reason I’m not paying them what they want is because I don’t have it nah. No matter how much you have it doesn’t make overpaying for something a good idea. Wealth and spending practices aren’t related. People with 0$ still take out loans and credit cards and spend money they don’t have. Millionaires are still frugal. It would make sense if people spent according to their wealth but that’s not how it plays out out in real life. I met a dude in sosua who was broke but managed to get a 5000$ loan from god knows where. He spent it on his trip to sosua. -__-

LOL. You started this as saying it's a correlation. Now you say "it's always a choice."

Which is it? Choice or correlation? If it's both, then we don't have anything do discuss because we're both right.

I think you misread.  I was talking about people's spending habits, not how much they spend.  For example that guy making $12,500 a year could be spending all his bread on trinkets and spinning his wheels financially.  While a millionaire can be a complete tightwad.  Some folks live beyond their means.  Just because a guy pays $7k for an Ahnvee membership doesnt mean his money is long.  It just means he has the cash or credit to pay Ahnvee $7k.

Whatever. I'm not understanding your argument that splits hairs betweens correlation and choice.
