Burner Phone while traveling - Good idea?
« on: November 09, 2018, 01:12:16 AM »
I've heard a few incidents recently of dudes losing their phones during their trips. I almost lost my phone on a recent trip to Boca Chica. On my next trip I'm thinking of bringing a burner phone with me as backup. I'll keep my normal phone in the hotel safe and I'll carry the burner phone wherever I go. So if I do lose the burner phone I could care less since my real phone is back at the hotel. Does anyone else bring a burner phone with them while traveling?

Yep, I have a dedicated Dominican phone. I lock the US phone in the safe. My issue is I don’t want to make myself a target by pulling out a cutting edge phone on the street or in the club.

I have a cheap unlocked dual sim phone i take with me abroad. Got it off amazon for like $70. It's small, cheap and looks cheap. Which is what I'm going for.
Took a while, got the jokers out of the deck now

Yeah me too I wouldn’t call it a burner though because I do bring it back.  When I don’t lose it or some bitch steals it.  It’s a cheap joint and I get the same number when I get another phone.  Dominican phone, Dominican number just add minutes when I’m in country.

I appreciate the feedback. I'm definitely gonna carry a cheap prepaid phone with me on all trips going forward as backup.

You can get a good cheap phone online for  $100 or less just look for unlocked and GSM compatible.
