They added 80 more cases to their count today. They now have irrefutable community spread. My guess is he’s going to extend the current restrictions to April 30th at least.

I won't even guess. Spoke to a few friends in D.R. and they think it will be more focused on obeying the quarantine laws and reinforcing what is already in place.  The fines for disobeying quarantine laws are severe. Some towns with no cases tried prohibiting entry from outsiders but the gov't told them they can't do it.

They are already arresting people that goes out without a good reason after 8pm.
Just last week, they arrested 1000's of people and they continue to do so every night.
Why bother with life?
Nobody has ever come out alive.

Presidente Medina tonight. Nothing on extending the travel ban. Will be interesting to see if there’s a sharp uptick in covid-19 numbers now that they have the rapid test.

Within the package of measures announced by President Danilo Medina on Wednesday night, banks will eliminate the minimum monthly payment on the balance of the card's debt and the late fee will be eliminated.
The idea of these actions is to alleviate the economic crisis that has been generated after the temporary closure of hundreds of companies to stop COVID-19 in the country.

President Danilo Medina announced on Wednesday night that the rapid test to detect the coronavirus COVID-19 will come out from this Thursday and that it will be free for all people who have a prescription and are 59 years of age or older and some condition of debilitating health, considered risky, such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory diseases, cancer , kidney failure, among others.
"Also, as the Minister of Health has already announced, starting tomorrow, rapid tests will be available to detect the virus, which will allow us to know in a few hours whether a case is positive or not," said the President.

Measure indicated that they will give priority to older people, since they are the most vulnerable to COVID-19. "In the same way, and always with a medical prescription, the cost of the test will be covered for those who present two or more symptoms," Medina said.

During a national address, the president also indicated that they will rent two private clinics, plus the centers that will be enabled in the interior of the country, to attend to patients affected with COVID-19, the plague that has infected 392 people and 10 deceased since March 1 , when the first case was registered in the country.

The High Level Commission chaired by the Minister of the Presidency will be giving more details of these and other measures tomorrow, he said.
He thanked people for the effort at the forefront of the battle: “Our doctors and nurses have proven to be extraordinary, our military and police, too. The hundreds of public servants who, whether from 911, from the government's social plans or from any instance, are attending to the needs of the people, are doing an extraordinary job, "added the president during a 20-minute speech.
