ok Torso you sold me on it!  I've now booked flights to be there for end of july!

can you recommend any good places to stay?

I know most hotels are away from the camp etc so just wondering if there were any decent options, as I also want to check out some of the island

i will be coming in from Aruba as I will checking that place out also!

the Renaissance would be perfect if you want to be in the center...hilton would be a choise if you want a beach and be relatively close to campo. Other than that there way lot of options out of american chains it all depends about what you lookin for. Madero beach formerly known as mambo beach excellent choice or the janthiel area which i can personally recommend......

Think I am sold on the idea of visiting Curacao. Just want to know how is the cell phone service there? Are there many places on island where I can buy a sim card for the week? Also, How does one know if the girls are in their hotel @ Campo? I remember reading somewhere that a red light will be on if the girls are already busy, but if they aren't busy do they just keep their door open the entire time waiting for someone to approach?

Been to neighboring Aruba, which has a similar but smaller setup than Curacao (women from DR/Colombia,etc on 3 month work visas, regular STD screens, etc) on the south end of the Island. I have a college buddy and cats I met in Aruba that also vouched for Curacao BIG TIME. It's on my todo list within the next 6 months.  I was already needing a break from Sosua after my trip 2 months ago and before the crackdown.

Based on my experience with Colombians in Aruba's red-light district (also for ~35-40 USD) they are TOP performers and GREAT bodies. The customer service is the TRUTH. These girls are there to WORK and WORK=FUCK so they get it in.
