Hi guys,

I was looking for some info on a golf, leisure and chicas vacation, and came across this message board.
After some research, it looks like Curaçao is as, or even more, interesting as the DR! Especially for a first timer going solo.
Does anyone have any info on the 3 golf courses in the area (Blue Bay, Old Quarry & CGSC)?

I'm thinking of getting an AirBnB or hotel, and renting a car. I'm not sure yet which location would be best to stay.
Daytime would be for golf and excusions, and nighttime mostly for the Campo. Maybe check put the bar scene, depending on how my Spanish skills develop by then.

I'd love to meet up with any of the members that have left some great insight, and offer you a few beers!

Thanks!

honestly speaking, Curacao is WAY more than just going to Campo to hit chicas for the low low. When I went my first time last year April (and i am booked to go again in 2 months) i had a blast!!.. I rode atvs through this very scenic dirt trail to this cave that had bats in it. I also drove to the west of Curacao to visit the most beautiful beach i've seen so far in life. I believe that beach is called Knip Beach. I also swam with turtles the size of babies. i stayed in the only All Inclusive there which is called Sunscape Curacao. so I spent a decent amount of time there during the day drinking and eating. then at night i drove over to campo where ispent the rest of my night before I went back to the hotel to sleep.

Hey guys,

It's nice to hear from you!

@LAKESIDE40 Cool, I'm looking at mid-April. I read that too early in April is not ideal because of semana santa, which ends March 31st. Isn't hitting the beaches one of the main reasons to visit Curaçao!?

@premo421 Big fan of your Curaçao thread, some serious chicas! The Sunscape seems nice, but I figured I'd save a lot with an AirBnB. Although, after seeing the pic of the chica you found at the resort... iAy-ay-ay!What's the scene like at this resort?
Thanks for the activity suggestions, I'm primarily going to golf and do some excursions, including the beaches. Campo is a nighttime bonus activity that caught my attention in the "tourist guide"... I'm also interested in the bar scene, but would need to seriously work on my Spanish and Salsa skills.

If any of you guys know anything about the quality of the golf courses, or will be on the island in April, holler!

@tv definitely Spanish and knowing bachata will go a long way with the club scene, unfortunately I am not good at either. The only regret I had about my trip was it was too short. I definitely wish I would have enjoyed checking out some of the things premo mentioned. The only things I did during the day was check out Mambo beach and I did get to check out downtown wilmstead one late afternoon/early evening. But I was able to see a lot of different clubs. There's tons of them. Torso probably showed me at least 20-30 different spots and he said their was tons more that we didn't really have time to see. Campo is great but I definitely want to come back again and explore more of the island.
