Fellas

I'm still tryna wrap my head around why these girls fuck for $40 USD. It cost me about $30 USD to fill my fridge from the supermarket. So I don't believe the cost of living is much lower (correct me if I'm wrong).

Or is that it that fucking multiple dudes for $40 USD is very profitable?

@DPS  Housing is lower.  Food is about the same, although finding good beef is nearly impossible.  Their bacon is the worst ever.  Auto is double the prices of the USA.  I spent $32,000 for a 2015 RAV4.  I bought it in the USA and then shipped it to Santo Domingo.  It cost $2,000 to ship it and then $13,000 for taxes. is that on top of the 32,000 or a part of the 32,000

Idiots down there were trying to sell me an old 2013 with 90,000 miles for $30,000.  smh

Renting a nice 4 br, 3 bath, gated community with security, pool and fitness room is about $560/month.  You can find dirt cheap places, but it isn't worth being cheapy-cheapy when it comes to housing. this is the only thing I'm trying to wrap my head around because I haven't found any places in gated communities for that low that I would except but maybe I'm just not looking in the right places when you get back down here you got to show me

Yep. Did her toto stink when you had it? Or was it a bad day lol

Naw I had her number but i feel for the bartender who makes the drinks there.

I was with her before, she was good to go.  Best Head game I have gotten down there so far!  Likes Facials ask for it.

You know, I felt like she would give good head if it wasn't for those braces lol. I will ask for that next time.

$17,500 for a 2015 Toyota Rav4 with 32,000 miles
$2,000 to ship it there with Ship Overseas out of Houston (never use these idiots)
$13,000 on taxes and fees to import the Rav4 at the Santo Domingo port

Idiots down there were trying to sell me an old 2013 with 90,000 miles for $30,000.  smh

My apartment is in Santo Domingo.  So I'm sure there are a lot more housing options than in Puerto Plata and Sosua.

I knew where it was but I didn't realize it was an apartment, but I now wonder if that is furnished or not.🤔

The apartment was not furnished.  I spent about $12,000 on a new bedroom set, washer, stove, refrigerator, dining and living room sets.  I also got 2 AC inverters.  And the prices are high and the quality is low.  It's better to import all of this to get better quality.

Thanks again bro. 2 questions

12k pesos or usd

Also the 13k in taxes on the vehicle was on top of the 32,000 and assessed based on the 32k or did the 32k include the 2k transport and 13k tax.

12k USD to furnish the apartment.

The original calculation of taxes was done last year.  The Rav4 arrived finally last week.  I did another calculation of taxes today from this website: http://www.aduanas.gob.do/calculadora

$17,500 for the 2015 Rav4 (purchase used in San Antonio)
$2,200 for getting it from San Antonio to Houston and then shipped from Houston to Santo Domingo
$8,000 in taxes from Aduanas.  I haven't seen the paperwork, but the DR government values the car around $19,200k
$2,000 I was told registration and license plates cost about $2k.

So this total comes up less than I originally thought.

I left $13,000 in the bank in the DR to pay for all the taxes and fees.  Hopefully I have about $3k left over!!!

Again, there is a website for calculating the fees for importing a car: http://www.aduanas.gob.do/calculadora

Thanks brother, it's only slightly cheaper to import the vehicle 🚗 than to buy new there. I think I just drop the 1.5 million pesos the was asking for a brand new Truck,  thank you again for the information you really save me a lot of legwork and helped with my final decision. Sounds like I'm buying brand-new down in the DR.  Hopefully impress somebody important and be able to fuck their white girl Dominican relative Lol

Yes, the best thing to do is purchase new there.  I will sell this in 3 years and then upgrade to something like a BMW X5.  I will buy it used (2 or 3 years old) and then send it down there.  With the way the Dominicans drive, I can't see myself buying a new car and have someone hit it.

Also, I got an update on the exact amount for the taxes.  $486,930.81 pesos was paid in order to get the Rav4 through customs.  So overall I'm happy doing it this way versus paying $30,000 for a 2013 Rav4 with 90,000 miles.  I only spent $29,000 total for the Rav4.  I do admit that it was kind of a pain in the ass to deal with the shipping company though.  It took them 3 months to get the Rav4 to the DR.  It went from Houston to Panama City, and then Panama City to the DR.  These guys lied and told me it would take only 5 days for shipping....SMH

Great trip report. That first trip is always gonna stay locked in your mind. It will haunt you until you can get back. And for what you said about the WhatsApps asking for money, don't worry about telling them no. All will be forgiven next time you come to town.
