Once again I'm here in Tha Land Of Funk , an I must say that things got off to a rocky start for me earlier in the day... I decided to catch a midnight flight out of JFK which would put me in Santo Domingo by 345am Wednesday morning, an I was going to try and talk the taxi down to atleast 160 for a ride to Sosua, but my jedi mind trick didn't work on him so, he started spitting 200.00 an I was like I will wait for Caribe tours to open up. I paid the 35 for the ride into downtown and had to wait a few before the cashiers opened up. I caught the 6am bus which would put me into sosua between 930 or 10,but I was way off because while riding on the bus I caught an hours nap, and 10 minutes after I woke up BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, this truck slammed into the back of the bus. I was in the middle section of the bus, but I jerked so hard that I thought I was being hit  by Greg Hardy sacking a qb. I felt tense pain in my neck and back, but I got up and grabbed my bag and proceeded to exit the bus. They damned near had to pull the truck apart to get the driver out and when they did get him they took him to a nearby hospital by fire truck. I started to call it quits and return home, but I am going to try and tough it out. I think I will be ok an as for Sosua it looked like a ghost town for a minute, a few Day Walkers were on the prowl for quickies, but I'm waiting for the Pure Bloods to come out... More reports and possible photos to come..

 Sorry to hear that brother, those dominicon roads I call them fury roads.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer, but yeah, I'm thinking I'm back.

Glad you didn't get seriously hurt my dude. After reading this I will continue to pay the extra money to fly from JFK to Puerta Plata. Only time I want to be on them roads is to and from the airport.

@Tha Gov,

Word on the street is..... The truck driver thought that was the Cowboys team bus. I also heard you was wearing your Tony Romo jersey and that really got him mad.
When the chicas stare, I don’t care, I know I’m rare.

I was thinking the same thing bro. I fly straight from jfk to puerto plata I don't mind paying the extra money. I don't even like the way they drive from the airport to Sosua.

@ Nickmirr, The Caribe Tours Driver was wearing a Raiders Jersey and the Truck Driver was a Chiefs fan so he rammed into the Bus...

The Aftermath.. I called my Sister who lives in Orange,NJ to tell her what happened and she was telling me to go see a doctor there,get a medical and accident report,find a lawyer,and sue the trucking company and caribe tours(good luck with that). I don't really speak spanish so, right there it's a wrap,#2 it's a 3rd world country and they trying to get money, not shell it out.

Damn! Did the driver survive? And that is a commercial truck. They have insurance!  Sue! You don't need to speak Spanish, but if you have a good lawyer he will do the speaking for you. I have a multilingual attorney. He's a beast! I have a buddy who recently had his car totally loss in a wreck with a commercial vehicle in Higuey. He got the car paid off and almost $7000.
