Blackbeard, is it worth it?
« on: September 05, 2018, 08:44:14 PM »
I've been to Sousa couple of times. Loved it.
Went to PicaFlor - nothing to talk about. Chicks looked the same as on a street but price was 2-3 times higher. So i left without getting anyone.

Heard a lot about Blackbeard on this forum but once there you kind of stuck. It's so far away. Plus the cost of taxi there alone would get me a threesome all night in Sousa.

Hence the question. Is it worth it?

PS: I do not speak Spanish, not sure if it's important.

Is comfort worth its cost? Take a 60peso car, motoconcho or split the cost of a taxi with others. It's worth it when you have a great time. So get out of town for some extra adventure.
...I'm usually wrong...but that sh!t was great!

I always wanted to go, and finally went in July.  I only spent the day there because the thought of going to bed at 11pm scared me. I had a great time though.  I recommend spending a day or 2 max.  It’s a different chill scene, but I loved it.  The days scene was ok, and the night scene was amazing.  I also had some of the best experiences for $2100.  And you don’t have to worry about negotiating.

How about food and alcohol?

From my experience, when you do not have options food tends to suck and drinks be supper expensive. Or is it all inclusive?

I only had one meal while I was there and it was bland.  Didn’t really have any taste.  They do not hit you over the head with the food or drinks either.  I Remember it being reasonable.

I love Sosua. I love Blackbeards. I have great times in both places. Is it worth it? Depends on the person. Everybody is different, but generally, guys in their 20s and 30s will prefer Sosua, hands down. Many guys in their 40s, 50s, and even 60s swear by Blackbeards.

As for the older guys and younger guys, I'll say this: Over the years I have seen multiple father-son teams at Blackbeards. The old man looked to be in his sixties, and the son was in his thirties. Both were having a blast. You won't know if Blackbeards is right for you until you try it.

Overall, Blackbeards, when compared to Sosua, is a very conservative and sleeply place -- but with lots and lots of fucking pretty young chicas with no hassles.

Now on to some of your questions:

Disadvantages

-- Not all inclusive.
-- Resturant is OK but I wouldn't make the trip there just for the food.
-- Bar tab can be higher than you'd like.
-- Easy to run up a big tab flirting with chicas and treating them to drinks and meals -- but you aren't forced to do that. It's all on you.
-- Place shuts down at about 11 p.m. Mamasan will make the rounds asking if guys want a chica for the night. Once she checks with all the guests she sends the rest of the chicas home for the night.

Advantages

-- Feels like being in a great guys getaway if you're comfortable hanging with older guys. Great comraderie. Guys trade notes on the chicas. After BB closes down for the night a lot of guys pile into cabs and hit the casino in Puerto Plata. Others make the trek all the way to Sosua. True boy's weekend.
-- Plenty of chicas to go around, most in the 7-8-9 range.
-- Many of the chicas look like college students
-- No-haggle pricing (2100 pesos)
-- Easy to set up a true, porn-style, daisy chain threesome. Just check with the mamasan and she'll make it happen.
-- Mamasan keeps a picture book of all the girls on the roster. She can call other chicas in if you see something you like.
-- No worries about theft from your room or the chica not performing.
-- Lots of independent bars and restaurants on Costambar Beach -- within walking distance. Some are quite good.
-- You can bring outside chicas back to your room at Blackbeards at no additional charge.

There is no right or wrong in choosing between Sosua over Blackbeards, or vice versa. Some guys feel BB is good for 2-3 days at time, at most. Other guys can stay two weeks. BB is not for you if you're into popping bottles and hanging out until 3 a.m.  But it is excellent as a change of pace. The only way you'll know if it is right for you is to try it.

Women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place. Sosua will do just fine.

If u love pussy like myself, you will take the leap.. if the kitchen didnt understand to take the cheese off ur no-cheese omelette and that type of thing infuriates u, then BB's might be beneath u..

@FuenteFuente thanks for very informative post.

Advantages you listed really outweigh disadvantages. Food is not a big deal. If i want a good food i know places in states. And i am not much of a drinker (5-6 bottles of presidente doing it for me).
But threesomes and 7-8-9 range really sold it for me.

Excellent post my Brother! Definitely a consideration for my next trip.
