A large part of the mask wearing in asia is due to pollution. Walking around in some of the major cities in China is the equivalent to smoking 4 packs of cigarettes a day.

That's just the air quality.

I know.  I had to do it there because of air quality but I mostly talking about the people who wear mask when they travel including here in the states and in South America.
