That's what they want. Can't install Socialism if the economy and small business are doing good. It's amazing how many people out here and ON THIS SITE who need the government to make decisions for them because they can't do it on their own.

Every liberal Biden supporter voted for that. I understand the weak women wanting that, I just didn't know that many dudes....especially black dudes were that damn weak and dependent.

What would you do if you were in charge?

How does it help you as a politician if all you see on TV is people overcrowding hospital parking lots, bodies laying on the side of the road, mass burials and 70% of the businesses are shut down not because of a political decision but because most of the workers are at home either dying or taking care of somebody that is dying.

That is exactly what happened in China in February and Chile in April.

I really don't see many other options until the vaccine is distributed.

If 1,000,000 people live in an area and 80% of the people catch it and 10% of the people need to go to the ICU then you got 80,000 people trying to crowd into hospitals where there may only be about 2,000 ICU beds total and no ICU beds left open.

I don't see how you get around that except for masks, social distancing and lockdowns.

Wall Street seems to like Biden and especially his cabinet appointments. So far, Bernie Sanders and AOC wing is being shut out. There's a reason for that. It's about big business versus small. Big business gets what they want no matter who is in power. They donate big to Democrats because they know they'll get exactly what they want from Republicans.

Dems see small businesses as a nuisance. Harder to control, more independent-minded and reliably conservative voters.

I think you are wrong about Black guys, most of them get it. Black women, perhaps not so much. Currently, it is most important to keep those two US senate seats in Georgia. Mail-in ballots will make that challenging. Too much voter fraud potential.

Sometimes, I wonder if people are just too young to remember anything, or are just ignorant. Let me add to your premise and say that Obama, too, was no radical progressive or socialist. Obama is neo-liberal, center-right Democrat. The leftist aren't cool with Obama.

Yup, the 2020 election was Trump's to lose. Trump is somewhat of an enigma-- clever enough to win the 2016 election, as early as 2011, but dumb enough to lose it in 2020. The two are very difficult to reconcile.
