Only true Desperadoes will even try to go now! You have to hard up for some Dominican pussy to take a test in DR to return home! Weekend warriors as soon as you land gotta take a test!  Good luck with that! I know my friends who own or run businesses in DR don’t want to hear it but it’s a wrap til vaccinations are issued
2 Weeks away. You think maybe people bought tickets to go months in advance?  Take off the negativity glasses. Life is about living!

After reading the order, three questions came to mind:

1. For those who are vaccinated, why do they need a negative Qualifying Test?

2. Shouldn't proof of vaccination be grounds for exemption from the order?

3. Are they not confident in the vaccines that are being deployed?

That’s what I was thinking. I’m taking the Pfizer vaccine this Saturday.

Al NYC,

WHY are you taking a vaccine?

‘Coronavirus vaccine unlikely to stop infection, World Health Organisation says’

Be advised that if the vaccine fucks you up, you have no legal recourse whatsoever. Vaccine makers have been granted immunity against lawsuits.

Ultimately, whatever you decide to do is on you, bro.

True that it may not stop you from contracting the virus

However, it is believed that should you contract the virus after getting the vaccine that your chances of it being far less invasive go up dramatically

The thing with Covid is that for the majority that get it recover without much trouble but that is not the case for everyone.

If they are now requiring you to be tested before being allowed back into the USA you can pretty much be assured that you won't be able to board a plane without proof of vaccination soon.

The CDC will also consider waivers of testing requirements for airlines flying to countries with little or no testing capacity, including some places in the Caribbean.

From Reuters today.

I just read the article:

Yooooo! LOL. Let me find out that a letter from one of my homies to the CDC yesterday made the CDC switch course and allow for waivers and exemptions today for certain travel destinations! Wow. 😳😆

That’s exactly what I was thinking but shit ur talkin about policy makers across multiple  countries and many different airlines as well so the shit is bound to b a cluster fuck.  But I’m almost “all in” cuz ur almost guaranteed a half full flight with all these restrictions.   GRU airport Brazil offers a 60$ 4hr test right there at the airport, but my trouble is finding a test right here in the US that will give me results in a timely fashion to catch the flight there.

I think United Airlines already started testing passangers using the quick test on certain international flights months ago.

I’m taking it primarily because I want to travel. I suspect pretty soon countries are going to adopt a policy that only vaccinated passengers are allow to enter.

Well if they want to stay in business, they’re gonna have to start doing it. But it has to the that quick 15-30 minutes results test.

Yes United did start that but only at specific airports for specific flights and for most passengers the test had to be completed within 72 hours before your flight
They are only doing same day flight covid tests with a very limited number of passengers because it would be impossible to process an entire plane.

The reason a the 15-30 test likely won't work at the airports in the DR is the don't have the available testing capacity to get it done in a timely manner.

So, the vaccine is for symptom mitigation, and not virus eradication?  Great, SMH...

Was just about to book a flight 2\27 to 3/ 2 AMerican airlines I wonder if DR one of the places that get a pass or will this actually stick. Ill still book flight now since its under 600 and if they still require this around that time Ill cancel and still have a 600 dollar flight credit simple.
