Author Topic: Cialis: Who Knows Price For Name-Brand Variety in Sosua? (Read 3418 times)

I have had mixed experience with generic versions of Cialis, although the Black Mambo 36 I tried in the Su last summer was on point. Overall I am a believer in generics but on a pure mongering trip I also appreciate the confidence boost of knowing I have the real thing.

There are times when I suspect some Cialis generics sold in foreign countries don't contain as much of the main ingredient (Taladafil) as the name-brand Eli Lilly version. Or the manufacturing quality is inconsistent compared to Eli Lilly.

Anyway, does anybody know the current price of the name-brand Eli Lily version of Cialis right now in the DR? I figure with the flood of generics the Eli Lilly version could be a little cheaper now.

The trinket guy that usually sells stuff together with his wife said it was 200pesos, but I'm not sure "language-wise" we were on the same page. I declined and later picked up mambo36 at the liquor store by City Lights. I just love hearing those chicas on the stairs calling me. haha

There are street dealers who are selling name brand Cialis for 40 - 60 pesos per pill. Watch out for the fake stuff -

afeez1, Thanks! I have been using a generic I purchase from India (via mail order) and they are pretty decent at a couple dollars a pill -- but inconsistent. They are watered down so much that sometimes I take two on the 20 milligrams in the morning and and another at night. But my local pharmacy wants a whopping $76 a pill for the true generic, and $82 for the real deal, both 20 milligrams. The idea of course is that you would split that pill into quarters, chopping it down to 5 milligrams, which unfortunately is not enough for me.

I am looking forward to buying some true Eli Lilly Cialis when I am back in the Su. Thanks again for looking out and for sending the link to the fake detector.

Not sure about the price on the name brand Cialis. I’d recommend trying the pharmacy close to the beach next to the little Playero. If you want an alternative I recommend La Pela. I believe a box of 24 is 1000 pesos. Could be 1200. In my opinion they’re the best alternative, but I’ve never used a name brand Cialis. I believe the Pela’s are better than the generic Cialis, Mambo 36 and any other generics floating around there.

@sosuajefe, Thanks for that info. I actually had a pretty good experience with the Mambo 36 on my last trip, and I am going to pick up some of the La Pela. I do want to try the name-brand Cialis as a comparison, but I am also all for any generic that actually works as advertised.

I recently bought a 30packet box of mambo for 1200pesos. I still have plenty left to use, so I think that was pretty cost effective to buy it by the box.

The chunky Green-eyed Dominicana that sells stuff in Bailees and on Doc Rosen told me that she can get "whatever" ED pill I want and to call her whatsapp anytime. At time I wasnt sure if she was hitting on me or putting her hand in my wallet. Either way, I appreciated the reference...but I've never used her.

I agree and like others, now I only have my prescriptions filled in the US. Mambo, I still buy at the liquor store and it works fine. I like to smile and wave it at the chicas on the steps when I come out! Hahaha
