So Sosua Abajo and Maranatha are f--ked. Water was inside peoples homes up to 5 feet or more. Folks living on either side of the river have lost everything.
On a fairly regular basis i go through my closets and take the clothes I am don't wear anymore and drop them at the Goodwill or the Red Cross or anywhere that manages that kind of thing.
Lately I have just been taking an extra bag of stuff to Cuba instead of the local drop off.
Now would be a good time to think about clearing the closets (or the ex wives/kids closet) and pack a bag to drop off in Sosua. Shit is not doing you any good lying around your house. Will cost you $20 bucks for a bag from Amazon, and $30 for the flight. A small gesture could make a big difference in some peoples lives right now.
