How much would something like that cost? The prices in flights is huge for the dates I'm available! Puerto Plata is a lot higher

A taxi will cost $100. Some may do it for $80…but the way gas prices are now idk. If you are not scared I highly recommend the Metro bus. It is just like a greyhound bus, and it’s only $10 and drops you off right in the middle of downtown sosua. Just Google “metro bus Dominican Republic”

Get your money up.... there is no way around it for most ...you need to live in certain states

Santiago is 177-300+ out of Miami/FLL but POP is 400 and up easily. Atlanta it’s 450-550 for Santiago and 650-1200 for POP. I can only imagine how a now east coast person can get screwed over.

You need to take a cab to the station. The last time I did it the cost was $15 for the cab.

I am looking at it now, it's going to sosua only at certain times? https://www.metroserviciosturisticos.com/horarios if my flight lands at a time that I not able to make the bus I wait for hours? Or does the bus run on like a 15 minute schedule or whatever?

Yep, if you are arriving very late and don't want to pay for a taxi the best thing to do is just spend that first night in Santiago. You'll have no problem lining up a chica for the evening/early morning, although the price for her likely will be higher than what you might pay in Sosua. Good luck.

I usually get into STI late so I grab a room (platino casino hotel) and get the bus the next or day after.

Stones man I am just looking at this just now and pardon my late response. I haven't been there in way over a year and a half. At that time the casino was closed by the time I got in from the airport due to the curfew, but staying there in a week on my way to Sosua so I will let you know. If it's open when I land I will probably get a couple of drinks and see what's there.

You can trust the taxi there you can get it for 80 but they likely will try to charge you 100 or 120 you wont get robbed.
