If anyone is going, there is new shit you need to know.
I am going. what's up? what do we need to know. I fluent in Spanish , just need to know where to go and how it goes.
I heard they want to charge lots of $$$$...is that true?
Thanks bro.
Well you have done your research about how to get there, not easy for an American, but not impossible. Whereabouts you gonna stay?
The money has gone loopy since my last visit pre-covid, shit is pricy or cheap depending on what kind of place you are in and how that want you to pay.
Most of my favorite spots have closed and may not reopen, so the days of walking into a place with 5 or even 10-1 women to men seem to be on hold.
A fit Spanish speaking guy will have no problem striking up a conversation to a woman anywhere, i did get plenty of eye contact from ladies on the road and in the shops.
Point and click? For a fat old gringo like me? i did not see any evidence of that like before.
Pulled out the rolodex and the contacts were all happy i called, they are not making any money these days.
I did not go but Mio y Tuyo continues to be mentioned, La Esencia has moved, it's strictly Thursday - Saturday and later at night as well. Dead when I was in there, the old location was great for me.
Casa de Musica in Central Havana has been renovated, I did not get in there and I don't know who goes. The one in Playa I do not know if it's open. Fabrica de Artes apparently continues to be busy.
Ugh... The city just felt kind of bleak. Definitely not that Fast and Furious 8 vibe happening.
