So I’ve seen the term “Vet” thrown around a lot of numerous forums. So what qualifies as a Vet! Myself I have 12 trips to the island am I a vet? Not trying to start verbal arguments but can somebody with know veteran status clarify this term for me. O yea trip 13 will be July 18-27 Casa Valeria.

“Vet” is a combination of your experience on the island coupled with an appropriate posting history on this forum.

Generally a Vet is someone with multiple trips under his belt
But more than that a Vet is someone who does not continue to make the same stupid mistakes over and over and knows how to handle himself appropriately when there
-
Having been in the military, the term "Vet" is applicable to each person that graduated from boot camp and functioned in some capacity for the military, no matter the actual length of time. Some "Vets" have more knowledge than others depending on time/locations served. So for me, it's not so important as to having the title, but moreso the time served.
-
I agree with JD66 and Papi, but demonstrated and peer reviewed posting knowledge is also equally as important.
There have been boots-on-the-ground “vets” that have continuously posted some of the most erroneous info one can ever find, lol. This is why post history is important when it comes to vet status around here. We want to be able to rely on trusted sources.
We can’t just allow any new guy who pops up around here to start spouting off without challenge.

Being a vet isn’t anything special. I’ve shown a 49 year old from Jersey how to get 1500 to 2000 chias, 3k threesomes with 22 year olds from PP, and more from his initial overspending mentality where everything was 3k and up for mediocrity to above average. He still had hiccups such as a diva in her 30s not wanting even 4K for short time, stuck on a “dollars” quota. Then there are some 10 year vets who do the same routines, barely can speak Spanish to hold a conversation outside of ordering things, and balk at the idea that you can successfully get something attractive outside of the standard going rate not believing you could negotiate a cheap deal until they see it with their eyes in person.
Don’t get caught up on being a vet, be efficient and effective with your time and money. A low price point can having diminished returns, but spending more doesn’t always improve the performance. Some girls suck or can’t take dick, others are naturally skilled.

Once you start owning the situation and not letting chicas set the agenda then I’d say you’re a vet. For some it’s right out of the gate for others it’s 3 or 4 trip and some will never get there at all

I agree. There are guys who get the lay of the land after one trip and guys who still need hand holding after 10. My first trip, I did research on monger sites and DR1. Once on the ground spoke with a variety of dudes (old, young, white, black, tourist, locals and expats). It isn't foolproof buy it allows you avoid a lot of mistakes. Same routine when I traveled to out locations. There are guys who travel with their crew and use a "guide" after years of going.
-
Being a "Vet" has nothing to do with posting on forums give me a damn break. Now the other stuff is what being a Vet is about. But at the end of the day who really cares you can be a first timer and still move in Sosua better than a Vet.
-
I mean how many trips does one need to get the hang of things?
You would be surprised how many people are going for years and are still paying those noobie prices ::)
-
I would consider a vet someone that has travelled to multiple places doing the p4p game, not just someone that trevelled to su 10 times over 10 yrs.

Or if you been in the mongering game in the states,, hookers and street walkers and have some street smarts and are not afraid to bargin prices and know the going rate !
-
Each trip you make you learn some thing new,,Was Staying at Sosua Suites for 30 days the guys that were staying there for 30 to 90 days all had different methods of procuring hoes to there likeing, no 1 your in charge you tell them the price and whats is exspected, if they did not agee on to the next Its a Macho culture Take command of the situation !!!

" A VET KNOWS WHAT TO PAY FOR WHAT HE WANTS" Not weekend baller prices, 1 trip or 100, if you get this your a vet. I know guys that will pay more than I do and some less. It all depends on what you ask them to do. In my group of guys I hang with, 3000 is the top end for FREAKY FREAK 2 HOUR AND 5000 TLN. ST day time is still 1500 with a regular.
-
..I'm going to ask anyways...so what does one get for 1500 pesos...is that ST , LT, TLN...maybe I'm not a Vet if I'm asking LMAO...I'm just wondering???

If you’re not living there you get a rat for 1,500 pesos.

The best way to find out what you can get for 1500 is to actually visit Sosua. And chit chat with chicas in town or on the beach. Tell them that it is all you are willing to pay and you will find out which ones will accept your offer.
The real story will be in how you and she interact and how she spends time with you at your spot.
Everything else is just talk, piss and vinegar.
-
I do and am PV...but was just wondering what folks are getting for 1500 pesos. My game my have diminished over the years, ;-) but 1500 in 2021 has been disappointing. Just wondering for all the real players , what 1500 was looking like these days. I used to run the tables on whatever for the 15..but my game ain't what it used to be..so just curious.
-
For me...in conversation I figure how much and what all she will be up for and even after we agree on 1500, the bbbj, fingerplay and pussy is still affected by the vibe. Its a good price but still ymmv as to how "you" are going to enjoy her.
If her just being a 20something foch-toy is enough for a nutt, then its easypeasy. If not, you have to bridge the gap with sharing a nice relaxing visit. Well, that's how I do it with the ones that agree with 1500pesos and usually it works out well.
-
1500 offer will not work for short timers, no chance. You got to be there long term.TLN 3000, for the week 20,000, if your anold guy like me and only do it twice a day. IF YOU FEED THEM THEY WILL STAY!!! LOL.
-
Yo thats real money! And any chica "staying" with me aint getting no $20,000pesos plus free food drink ac comfy foching living and transportation all around the island. She might get groceries for her family and nutts x $1000pesos.
....if she can make nutt 20x then Ok. LoL!!
-

Honestly, it all depends on your taste in women.
There are women that'll take 1500 (i'm sure lol)....and if that particular woman is within your range of what looks good [to you], then you're in the game. Just gotta go there and feel em out. But they exist.
-
To me a vet is the same as somebody claiming he is an OG...both don't mean 2 f--ks to me...most yall n----s is bitch made anyways.
just my 20 pesos.

-
We're puttin a bit too much thought into the word.
"Vet" is simply a loosely thrown around word that means "experienced" (for the most part). There's no set number of visits that qualify you as a vet.
Vets don't have all the answers, but more than likely have come across situations that a newbie may have questions about, and can offer nuggets of advice from experience....whether it be activities, lodging, people, food, hoes, maneuverability, etc. I consider myself a vet, as I've been averaging about two trips per year since 2014. But shit, i'm still constantly learning new things about the country.
-
@Just_A_Guy agree. Lived experience counts.
Number of posts on this board doesn't guarantee someone's a vet. A good friend of mine has been going to Sosua since 2005 but barely posts on here. Nothing beats experience / will to learn new things.
-
I consider myself a VET of Sosua, i know all the flights, roads, the shops, the bars, the restaurants, the hotels, beaches, best spots for a burger, wings, pizza, coffee, cigars....
But women? I know f--k all about that. Shit changes every trip.
-
So TRUE VEGA, a vet is the guy that can tell you more about what not to do, than what to f**k. My chicas are what I LIKE AND WANT TO PAY, NOT WHAT OTHERS LIKE.
-
I will chime in on this!
Every time one of my trips is near; I come one jere and comment.
I may not be considered a vet! I have been going for some years. I have had arguments on this forum. I have held the cost line at $200 pesos. I have learned the true cost of TLN and ST.
All that, and there's always a Chica, who will f--k up your plans.
I have always maintained one line though.....
Enjoy yourself and be safe!
Da Su, is heaven!!!! It's home! Da candy shop!
Da Su could be hell (run out of money and you will see).
Do you, eff the rest!
-
200 pesos ? Wtf
-
200 pesos could be !same as free pussy in sosua hmmmmmmm !
