Fellas,

I apologize in advance for the rookie question. I'm sure if I had this question that others will had the same question.

What folks are rockin in the clubs/bars at night?

From some it sounds like it's pretty dressy but for others not so much. Given the HEAT in and outside of the clubs what is reasonable (other than linen everything) to wear? Thin trousers with Cole Hann/Kenneth Cole shoes and a button down? or Dressy sandals? Nice shorts? Jeans and button down short sleeve shirt and casual leather shoes.? As a general rule, I'd rather be a little overdressed than underdressed but more importantly I need to be comfortable. And I aint trying to pack shit I don't need.

while i was there i wore tshirts, pants, and tennis shoes at night for when i hit the clubs. them hoes will not be impress with what you dress in. they just want the money.

I am with you my man I like to dress well. Get some matching atheletic short sets during the day works great with the heat and you will look impressive but not flashy. A pair of slick jeans at night with a heat resistent tee shirt. Wear long pants at night only americans and tourist wear shorts in the DR especially at night.

DRESS IN THE RD>>>

In sosua, anything goes fashion wise, being a huge tourist area...

If you get outside of Sosua, you need long pants, especially at night and away from the beach

I have to give my perspective... As someone who travels this country I wont leave the barrio or mi casa for a night run without jeans on. You would look and feel so dumb walking into a bar with hot chicas in basketball shorts.. TRUST this has happened to me.
Now in sosua anything goes but understand Dominicans clean up nice. They may have 300rd but they look like a million bucks

Basketball shorts, vnecks tees,and flip flops during the day. Trues, a fly tee or short sleeve button up and some fresh sneakers. That's it.
