I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this place listed on Air B&B.  Normally I stay at Sosua Inn or Residencial Hispaniola.  I am looking into stay near the strip but Sosua Inn is booked when I am thinking of going. 

Anyone have info on this place from AirB&B.

Looks really nice but I contacted the host and he messaged me that it is on the same block and side as Flip Flops.  I could not image a place there unless you are walking down that long path to the beach where all the little shops are located. I would not want to stay because of the noise and traffic. Any info on the exact location would be appreciated.

no question the place looks nice, how ever if im not mistaken its on the main entrance of the beach. During the day, it gets busy with people and car and the shops. after the sun goes down and people exit the beach is quiet. poor lighting at night but there's hardly traffic when the sun goes down.

Thanks for the info.  I kind of thought it was on that main path to the beach.  My concerns were not only noise level but also safety. And I see you mentioned how little lighting there is when the sun goes down. I have come from the beach when it was getting dark a few times and my "spidy sense" kicked in and I thought, this area is really deserted after dark, I wonder if anyone ever gets "got" if they are walking around here after dark for some reason.  I definitely plan on walking back to the spot late at night with a chica. I'll think it through.

I messaged the host and he said it was on the same street and same side as flip flops.  The only thing I could imagine was that the building was on the main path going down to the beach-where all the shops are located.  I am not sure how far down the building would be so I am trying to get a better understanding.  It gets particularly dark there at night and I wonder about walking with a chica at 2AM or 3AM if the building is way down closer to the beach and not closer to the top of the hill at the path entrance.

Another one bedroom Air B&B apartment close to the strip option is this place. You can book with the owner (he lives in Sosua) directly on his WhatsApp .... Michael C. 1-(914) 253-1812  All in @ $45 a night. Pictures are valid. You can also pay him US cash or via Cash App. Hot water shower and great air cond in bedroom. Everything you need in Kitchen, as well as the apartment is on the 1st floor and very quiet.
Located in a plaza just off the main highway 100 yards from the Metro Station. Just around the parking lot corner is a great mini mart, never need to go get drinks, etc anywhere else. Also the largest China Tienda across the street. Less than a minute walk to Kings and etc....From the airport just tell the Taxi guy it's in the plaza where Edenorte is, or get off at the Metro Station and short walk.
Some on this site may have stayed there and I'm sure will respond. I have just left the North Coast and the DR after several months, and always book this place when in the town for a night or two until my house opens up.

I think I found the spot based on this youtube vidoe.  Look at part 3:12.  I think it is the new small two story building on the right.  Does anyone know if it is ok, meaning safe to walk along this path to the beach at 2am in the morning. I know in less you stayed there it would be impossible to tell but if anyone stayed there or walked along the entrance to Sosua beach late at night let me know if it is completely dark (or any lighting at all) or if ok to walk a chica back late at night.  I just think on this path with no light at 2 or 3Am would be a good spot to get "got".

The one on the right at 3:12 to 3:40 is a three unit apartment with a shared kitchen. I booked the one as a backup to New Garden for my next trip. https://abnb.me/nteGrf60Izb

I like to have a place to grab some sleep, if I need it, and this was so close to the beach, I can run up and hit the bathroom or shower in just minutes. Plus, I can meet a few trusted Chica’s for a quick hit and continue my fun at New Garden if they get clingy.

Looks like a great place just the location is terrible.  The beach is where the druggies and homeless gather at night.  No way in hell I would walk down that dark street every single night because its only a matter of time before you get got!!

Positive side: Every girl you bring back will be an overnight visit because they wont leave to catch a moto, especially if you tell them they have to go solo up that dark ass street :-)

Thanks, that is the kind of information I was looking for.  I could tell it was down the main path to the beach but I could not tell how far down.  I've eaten at Flip Flops or Osteria Toscana many times late at night and when leaving I would look down the long main path to the beach and say to myself "I'd hate to walk down there, looks like a perfect place to hold up a tourist".  The reviewers on AirB&B all say it is a great location but who knows if they were out partying all night and coming in late or even if the reviews are real but I know I'm not walking down that path at 3AM in the morning every night.
