Flight was delayed by two hours so I wouldn’t  have made any of my connections and a southwest flight to get the rest of the way back couldn’t be rescheduled until the 3rd so after going through immigration and waiting at the airport I told them to pull off my bag I’ll stay another week the lady at the counter acted like I was crazy but rebooked me ran through immigration with a vip escort omg the lines were so long and I just skipped all that nonsense  and had my taxi pick me up

They messed my flight up at POP before and I missed my checkin time but the plane didn’t leave, so I managed to squeeze in last minute when her manager approved. They wanted me to pay the difference for a new flight which I refused. So did you pay extra? She might have been shocked at the amount of money you were willing to spend rebooking, and staying longer. Not everyone is responsible to have enough money to stay extra time, than initially expected.

Free because it was so delayed and i wouldn’t make my connecting flight in Miami. I checked in way before time to go and as the hours rolled by I decided to stay if it was possible.if it would have cost me anything I wouldn’t have done it or studied my travel insurance a bit more but everything always works out for me in the end.

Just always remember the airline owes you within reason what you want if they can’t keep to schedule for anything but weather. For weather they don’t have to do jack shit for you.

From what I read it seems like southwest is about to get a pineapple stuck up their ass for what they caused during the holidays

From what I've been reading things look like a class action suit coming at Southwest. Sure the first 2-3 days can be blamed on the storm, but after that the blames on them. Their computer system is too out of date to handle such an event, and they knew it as far back as 2016.
