Why I am not sold on Cartagena

The dummy behavior of a noticeable minority of tourists puts a target on other brothers backs.
By dummy behavior I mean, paying in USD, over paying, tipping, knowing 0 spanish, getting shit drunk with working girls, promising to buy expensive gifts.

It's simple. "No Dar Papaya" This is saying is deeper than most understand.

It's cultural and even applies to everyday folk. They will take from you given the opportunity IF in their opinion you are showing that you have extra to take. Pretty f'd up.

I enjoyed Cartegenia as a break from Sosua. However Cartegenia's beaches leave a lot to be desired when compared to Playa Sosua and Cabarete where you can kick it at the beach all day...The night clubs are cool but the clubs inside the wall get old quickly. The women were cool and while I was quoted $300 often I never ever paid beyond $100. The one thing Colombia has over DR is a better GFE experience which you tend to only get nowadays in Sosua from regulars. I will visit Colombia but I would choose DR of I had to...

Heading to Cartagena in 3 weeks lol. I’m mostly fishing in a neighboring town/area, I met 3 chicas via tinder…I honestly think that’ll be enough. I have moderate expectations in regards to mongering, definitely not hitting the clubs.

To get the most out of Cartagena and Colombia in general you NEED basic spanish. Think 4-5 year old level lol
If you stick to clock tower and the 3 clubs, you have to understand that 99% of the women you're dealing with are going to be Venezuelans or Colombians traveling to CTG specifically to get a bag.

To get GFE you have to tell them what you want and then either pay up, or take time to build a short relationship.
Problem I feel with CTG is these ignant ass girls will see a weekend warrior give one of their home girls $200 USD then they think they deserve that too.

Proceed with caution with chicas off the app in Colombia. It’s nothing like DR when it comes to safety.

He n To add k so 250k makes sense and you know that’s roughly 60-67usd. 300k is 75$ so if you have a chick say 150$ and you reply 300k it’s saying I counter your 150$ is with 75$ in your currency. Same as if a chick says 100$ in the casino you’re gonna say 3000-4000k being 55-72$

Most of the girls find in the clubs and in the streets are Vennies.  They don't want to cause trouble cause the first thing that will happen to them, they will be deported and be blocked from ever entering Colombia.
