You have no chance of negotiating in increments of $10 or $20 but you can negotiate all day long moving at $500 or $1000.

I paid under 17$ for this in Colombia, so sad to say I don’t go above 3500 peso ever. I cap off at 3000, but I may begrudgingly pay more depending on circumstances. I’m a 1500-2000 peso guy. 2200 at times. I’ve seen better looking women for cheaper, outside Sosua(in DR and other countries) so I’m not going 4000-5500 unless there’s some 70 peso to usd rate.

I’ve been having a similar debate in my head. DR is over due for a serious price correction, and I’ve been contemplating boycotting altogether for greener pastures.

I’ve been thinking about popping my Colombia cherry for a while, but the uptick in scopolamine reports makes me a bit wary…

They can’t scope you if you don’t take them to your hotel. Well they can so leave your CC in the safe, take what you can afford to lose and utilize a love hotel. At worse you’d get scoped In a bar and just lose your electronics and pocket money.

Short term hotels and cabanas are very cheap. If you bring her to the hotel make sure security gets her id and she can’t leave without you.

Good tips. Taking the leap and heading to Cali next week. I heard the drugging isn’t much of an issue there, but I will still use a separate smash pad and visiting the established casas.

If poor tourists demand cheaper prices, then by definition the supply will be shitty hoes/service/looks etc.

I lived in Sosua and Cabarete back in 2014 and 2016, for 6 months at a time. And that is not true, on weekends that is when ALL the hoes show up, top notch and rats, and on SB weekend, halloween. For you to say that raggedy ass hoes show up on weekends because that is when the SIMPS show up is disingenuous at best. Most of the best hoes from surrounding areas show up, because that is when more tourist are present. Supply and demand.
The only problem is that the demand for cheap ass hoes is high, and with that rats will tend to stay.
