« on: January 17, 2017, 08:32:00 AM »
Hello guys, I will be taken the Pilgrimage to The Land of Milk and Honey in March, and I was wondering which is a better place for me to stay. I have a buddy staying at NG. .I have the two to choose from. I sure hope to make the right choice in a few days.

Wow !!! Without a doubt... Please give me details as to why it is such a slam dunk... I am just curious to know if being right next to the NG, I would be able to enjoy some of the Chica friendly enviroment that it has to offer.???

I'm not sure about NG "chica friendly environment"....and sure you can just walk over there if you want to. As for Terra Linda, it's waaaay overpriced. They have a good restaurant, but you can just walk over there to eat. Casa Valeria has brand new rooms, good security, good restaurant and a great staff....all for less money per night than Terra Linda.

Casa Valeria. I never felt my room was secure when I stayed at Terra Linda and the rooms are basic as hell. Once I heard the story about the rooms being broken into at Terra Linda that did it for me. Also that security dude there a night is a real dick.
Keep It Movin!

Casa Valeria hands down. The new rooms are the best in Sosua for the price range. NG was my go-to for a while and I enjoyed it but I like Casa Valeria b/c it's less of a frat boy vibe and you have more privacy. And trust me, it actually goes a long way with making your chica feel more loose and comfortable.

I made a reservation for Casa Valeria. When I made it, I liked that they were very prompt to answer my questions and paid for the first night, usd 68 for the comfort room, by PayPal, to confirm my reservation and didn't have to leave my cc number.

Good call. You won't regret it. If you're a frequent traveler I would suggest using Hotels.com because you can sign up for rewards and start racking up free nights and they also have free cancellation. I've traveled so much I'm a Gold member now so often times I get their members only rates which are way cheaper sometimes. I'm just letting my nights rack up so one of these trips my hotel will be completely free.

I've always felt TL get a bad rap here -- I like it, but that's just me.
