New Hours:

Wednesday July 14 for sure. 11-5 Monday to Friday, 9-5 Saturday Sunday, two hours of travel.

Wednesday July 21, 11-5 seven days a week.

No restrictions on alcohol sales up to curfew time.

Curfew will be lifted from provinces when the 70% vaccination rate is met.

My feeling is Puerto Plata province will be one of the first to fully reopen, let's hope it's soon!

My timing seems right. Besides not being able to visit for 13 months, when i arrived they moved the curfew from 7 to 9. I left before the 3:00 no booze kicked in, and I return just in time to enjoy an actual night out.

Thank you for providing this information.   I hope it will be easy for all to find?
Where you stand on the issue depends on where you sit.  The words enough, some, many , to whom it applies to, does not mean ALL of any people, places or things.  If you cant, dont or wont learn from friends, family or your peers, dont worry the locals will teach you, and you will learn the hard way.
